What setting is this adventure taking place in? Mystara? Greyhawk? Generic?

I am asking so I know which pantheons are available for my cleric.


Oh yes, and are all starting at Level 1? This is an adventure for 6-10 characters of levels 1-3. Plus. we will be lost in the middle of nowhere on a desert so chances for PC replacements are slim.

We'll go with max hp for first level. ( yes, we are starting at first level)

For the sake of picking one lets go with Greyhawk. Always liked that setting.

Drop INT to 9 and raise STR to 15 for a fighter or dwarf; but going from 14 to 15 doesn't do anything in b/e.
Drop INT to 9 and raise DEX to 13 for a halfling or thief; ooooh, and get my 10% XP bonus, either way.

My halfling would be a bit hampered by the starting gold; it wouldn't have as much of an effect on the thief.

D4 sucks.

Maybe I'll wait and see what the ruling is on starting hit points?

Interesting...

I just realized in BD&D Moldvay/Cook the type of armor you are wearing limits your maximum Movement Rate regardless of total carried weight. Reminds me of AD&D1e/OSRIC.
