It takes some work, but the lid is eventually shifted over enough so the adventurers can peer within. Inside, a mummified corpse stares back at them with unseeing eyes. Its skin is drawn tight over its bones, and the figure's mouth is twisted in a rictus of a grin. Around its neck the figure wears a bronze torc engraved with twining ivy. Although gruesome, the figure does not move or dispaly any signs of animation.
