Once at the cabin I will unload gear and set a watch. Also make sure I am armed and weapons/ammo is secured. I will re-fuel the 4runner from the fuel cans if possible and position it so I can make a quick getaway if necessary.

Also in 4Runner will be enough food & water for me to make it 10 days, the rest of my 30 day supply will be in the cabin
All spare 300 AAC and 12g mini slugs are in the 4 runner

Armed? I've got a hockey stick and a kitchen knife. I don't know much about guns. I took hunter's safety thirty...three? years ago. Shot a shotgun and a deer rifle then, haven't touched a gun since.
