Alternity style roll suggestions

I'm bring back Dark*Matter: The Hoffmann Institute hopefully sometime in July this year.

One little problem I'm looking for advice for. Both the old and new alternity dice mechanics use a control die (d20) and a situation die (+ or -, d4, d6, d8, d12, d20, 2d20, 3d20).

Turns out there is an OK way to add different dice say, 1d20 +1d6 like this or by summing rolls but something say like 1d20 -1d6 is impossible.

Is this possible some how and I am just missing it?

There is currently no way to do any modifiers to a dice expression (a roll) that include another dice expression (e.g. you can't do [1d20] +[1d6] or [1d20] - [1d6])

Examples:
[1d20] = 6 + [1d6] = 1
([1d20] = 15 - [1d6] = 4)

Currently the best you can do is make both dice expressions within the same roll, but you'd have to manually add or subtract the results.

I don't think this is something that would be modified any time soon due to the limited availability of our Site Admin, who is the developer of the US Dice Roller.

Sorry.
