I still need to flesh out some details, but here is the start of my elven wizard:
He has no real offense or defense capabilities, so he'll be a bit of a utility role player.

I think I'm using the same DMG as you:

Are you sure your bolts are +1, not +2? The only bolts I see are for result 28-32 on the Miscellaneous Weapons table:
  • "Bolt +2, 20-20 in number"

Also, what normal equipment list are you using? I love adding things like caltrops or marbles, but don't see them in the revised 2e PHB equipment list.

They look good to me. I haven't made anything yet, sort of waiting to see what everyone else makes.

I use the AD&D 2nd edition Arms & Equipment Guide, PHB, and several of the Complete "Handbook's" like Fighter's , Thief's etc

Ahh, that's cool. I totally forgot about it, but I do own the Arms & Equipment guide, so I'll have to check it out.

Thanks for the reminder!

They were the only items I took from the Unearthed Arcana, I checked with ybn1197.

I might...

In a somewhat related story, I actually made the mistake of purchasing the Sling of Seeking +2 for its XP amount (700), not gold piece amount (7,000).

That was fun to back out.

:-)

you get 5d4 +1 bullets for 120gp!

If I bought a +1 hammer it would have been 2500gp! So I thought sling bullets and potions was a better bet.

You can access most of 2e here (including the Arms & Equipment guide) at purple worm org. Only thing missing is the forgotten realms specific books but I have the 3 mentioned if anyone has any questions.

One of my favorite websites (after this one, of course) until I took up 5e.

Have you guys seen this great interactive map of Faerun

https://www.aidedd.org/atlas/index.php?map=R&l=1

The really cool thing is that you can draw routes between locations and it tells you far it is and how long it will take to travel it.

That's really cool! Consider it bookmarked.
