"How interesting," Hal stands, looking at something. He jams the .22 against the Pharaohs skull, "Don't move, you malformed fucker!"

Looking at Hal's character sheet, I see his illness left him with a Dex. 5. He'll go last in actions normally, but will get the surprise this round. I see he is wealthy as well, with an arsenal? I guess he and Wife Matilda must have spent all the money :)
The Dark Pharaoh looks startled and stands frozen.

"Ah, Hal..." begins Sipowicz, before deciding to go with the flow.

"What do you want?" says the Dark Pharaoh.

"Friend of mine, Archer, where is he?" **Hal gives the date of Sam's disappearance and a brief description, height, hair colour...**

"I don't know where he is. He was sniffing around a few months ago and we chased him off," says the Dark Pharoah.

There is a deep growl of a cat from the room beyond the beaded curtain. It doesn't sound like a house cat.

"Run," he says to Sipowicz. Immediately he empties the .22's chambers into the baldness.

Roll 1d6 damage. Being at his head, I'll give you an automatic impale (critical) for another 1d6 damage.
The shot rings out, deafening in the close confines. The Dark Pharaoh crumples to the ground.

Sipowicz bolts out the door.

"Boss!?" yells the midget from further inside the trailer.

Hal hears a fericious roar and sees a black panther - or is it a cougar - bound through the beaded curtain.

Headshot? [2d6] = 5

Hal sees the big cat, the insane idea of feeding it treats flashes through his mind. Is there time to fire at baldy's head again?

Your gun fires up to three shots a round, falling at begining, middle and end of round. Your low Dex means you generally lose initiative, but in the case of gun trained you went first. 5 HP damage isn’t enough to kill him, so he can take an action.
The Dark Pharaoh screams in pain as part of his jaw is blown apart. He falls, rolls and scrambles through the curtained doorway.

The tiger claws at Hal, raking him across the chest (5 HP.)
Hal may fire his two remaining shots at the tiger to complete his combat action. All
my rolls can be seen in the dice roller campaign archive.

Roll 1d6 twice [2d6] = 9

"Urrgh!" grunts Hal as the tiger's claws gouge. He shoots, "I got ya, you Heine bastard!"

The tiger shots will require to-hit rolls. 1d100 for each shot. Thanks.

As the cougar rakes Hal with its claw, Hal fires his pistol. The bullet goes through its neck. The cougar screeches and gurgles and staggers away theough the beaded curtain.

The door Sipowicz exited from is ajar.
Your low roll was an impale, doing double damage. The second shot missed. So your 2d6 damage stands.

To run is tempting, actually tempting is too bland a word, Hal fervently wants to get away, but he can barely run, well not far anyway. "Oh shit!" He heads after the big cat.

A bleeding Hal plunges through the beaded curtain into another 10'x10' room. The cougar is unconcious or dead on the floor, its blood staining a oriental rug. The room has a black wood table and four chairs, two small windows of stained glass, tapestries of Egyptian themes on the wall, and a regular door opposite the beaded curtain. The place smells of heavy incense.

A determined Hal figures the Pharaoh, if he's still alive, and the midget must be beyond that door. Unless there is a door out of the trailer at the opposite end.

Hal hears noises of commotion outside. The shots must be bringing people. Thoughts of Sipowicz flash through his mind.
Hal has 5 HP.

Hal tries to think up some clever tactic to avoid being cut down when he opens the door, but he can't, hell! he'd need a comfy armchair, a pipe, and an evening to think it through. Back in the trenches firepower, not will or bravery, usually won the day. He clutches the dinky .22 and continues on.

Hal passes through the door into what must be the final room in the trailer. It is an empty bedroom, again done up in Egyptian style. There is a door opposite that is open, looking to the outside. There is a small crowd of people surrounding and looking down at the midget and Dark Pharaoh, who is on the ground prone and hurt.

"There he is!" yells an exceedingly tall and thin man, pointing at the trailer's open door and Hal in the bedroom.

"Scram! all of you, yer mongrels" And Hal fires a shot just over their heads.
How many shots are left in the .22?

Half the freaks scatter. The others huddle around their wounded Dark Pharaoh.

"Get 'em Joe Bob!"

An ornery looking hairy man with a hunchback steps into sight. He has a shot gun.
Hal has two shots left.

Hal goes back inside, then slides back against the door's wall. He looks around the room for weapons? a hiding place? something unusual? "Well, old boy, you've got a few moments left..." He considers prayer but doesn't bother.

Hal jumps back at the sight of the shotgun and slams the door. He looks frantically about the small bedroom. No weapons in plain sight.

"Open up!"

The trailer has three rooms, each small. Not much room to hide.

BAM! The door is blasted apart.

Locked
