"Well, according to Sarith here, there's only two ways out fer us. Down in this bucket or over the bridge into them spider webs. I fancy this bucket more, but I don't know if it will hold all of us." He tries to judge how much weight the bucket and winch system will support.

"I don't like the idea of the webs, bucket it is."

The bucket looks about big enough for four people to fit in it. It looks like it'll take someone (or some... ones?) strong to lower it.

You have Raknar, Ront, Buppido, Derendil and Sarith from the one group, and Brana (unconscious), Ornthalas (unconscious), Eldeth, and Stool from the other group.

As you consider, you hear a buzzing sound, coming from somewhere distant... like the sound of thousands of terrible bees approaching.

"We need to get going, the unconscious first."

”Well, get ‘em in then. I’ll help lower ‘em down.” He moves to turn the winch. ”Give me a hand, Derendil.”

So... the two unconscious characters, Ront and Sarith are going down?

I'll need a strength check, with advantage (from help) to try to lower it. Your strongest folks are Derendil and Ront, I think... (at +3 for either of them)

Well, 4 can fit, conscious or not. Brana and Ornthalas (the unconscious ones) plus... Eldeth and Ront, then?

Lol, it's ok. I was totally guessing that that was the plan, since they were holding the bodies, but had no idea.

Its not a death save situation, fortunately. The quaggoth was, at first, trying to catch you, then trying to knock you out (which he did)

Brana and Ornthalas's unconscious bodies are loaded into the basket, and Ront and Sarith join them. Derendil and Raknar try to turn the winch, but they find that it requires an incredible strength, and the basket barely moves.

As they struggle to turn the winch, the awful buzzing sound increases in volume. As you wait, an alarm horn sounds off in the northern section of the cavern, from the direction of the quaggoth cave.

I hate to rules lawyer, so tell me to get lost if necessary, but if Raknar is taking the Help action shouldn't Derendil get advantage on his ability checks?
