Alderhay continues to help keep the lemures at bay:
Short Sword (Ogre boost): to-hit [1d20+3] = 18+3 = 21, dmg [1d6+3] = 3+3 = 6
Dagger (offhand - ogre boost): to-hit [1d20+1] = 2+1 = 3, dmg [1d4] = 3

Szmodics
Ties a knot of the whip around a dead lemures stumpy form and drags it over to the mage Siggard and the scroll bearing cleric, Pocc and Iggway. "Okay you have one to practice removing curses on. Does that help?"
If Van de Poel keeps stabbing it every so often it will stop the regeneration. He then takes a place in the defensive line to keep the live ones at bay from those dealing with the curse issue and skin scroll.

Pocc will try his best to fend off foes.

Rexlin and Fishy will continue to hold their actions, guarding a front line with the same rolls if you allow.

Ferrol
Ferrol gasps his thanks to Iggway and looks around to assess the grim situation. With all but a few focused on holding back the tide, he tries to focus attention on getting the hells out of here. He wildly looks around the 'room' looking for an escape. His eyes fall on the two recently slain creatures and he moves to quickly examine them for any items of interest.
"What's the plan, guys? Is there anyone left who could repent? I have some bits of hands, maybe we could press them to the contract. Or...how about that hand in the cage Sig?"

Re: Exploring the 'Guineaman'.
I thought Sig left his caged hand back on the Jetty, but I might be wrong about that.
I know I posted that it was in Renes canoe initially, but if a hand is something that we need, and we gave the canoe away, perhaps Sig/Gin is still carrying the hand around?
If so, he would definitely give it up to try using on the parchments.
Though Im not sure what, if any, good that would do.

Re: Exploring the 'Guineaman'.
okay I will clear up a couple of questions before I update the scene.
Nicely thought Ferrol , you have 'diced and sliced' hands and fingers in a sack with you. The money sack?
I told Iggway she could attempt to use the Remove Curse on De la Vega following a successful touch attack as it is an opposed reaction or use the Remove Curse on the skin scrolls as a free action if you could get it off or kill the mummy. In fairness Iggway didn't roll, I did to update the scene so quickly I am happy to waive that use of the scroll.
Concerning the scrolls, Pocc has an identical one, given by Padre Claude to aide in curing the lycan infection on the werewolf children. Using the scroll incurs a small % chance of misuse and spell failure, which occurred in the manse when Eric saved.
As someone noted, Zhym or OG, the is no 5-step plan, just one (or 2).
is taken from the scene with the first wave of lemures in the passage. So the 'severed hand' is in Siggards or VdP's backpack.Van de Poel and Old Plighty clutch weapons anticipating a melee. Face the monkey and 'Hand in the Cage' are in backpacks, Roger & Gaston slither under Pocc's cloak.

Re: Exploring the 'Guineaman'.
All of the sudden Iggway looks like she has received a divine message from a higher power. She screams out loud to the Mage and Druid. Siggard! Press the severed hand to the skin parchment! Pocc! Get over here and remove this curse of purgatory so everyone can get out of here!!!!

Pocc comes over with the scroll that he has no idea how to use.

Re: Exploring the 'Guineaman'.
Gut instincts and stomachs for the fight.
Stubble, hammers his morningstar into the gut floor, Fenis attacks and misses with his flaming firebrand. Rene shoots his bolt inadequately. Pocc fumbles, Rex hacks up. Old Plighty lunges wide as does Geoffrey. The flashing of blades fail to find a maggotty mark.
Alderhay though stabs a lemure. Fishy crits a lemure, even Goldie gets stuck in. Zoggrot swings with his new cutlass, a familuar feel if swooping death in his grasp. But the quartet of successes fails to impact the diabolical cursed crewmen who lunge forward to bludgeon and bash with stumpy arms.
Szmodics and Ferrol rush to re-in force the line.
Van de Poel wards the spell casters, Siggard and
Iggway who unfurl the skin made parchment and place severed hands, severed fingers and the crawling claw upon the bloody signature prints of their soul sworn oath. The cleric shouts for the druids aid but above the rallying calls to battle and amid zipping of spitting acidic vapours and the crackling of burning lemures in their cocoons, the request is hardly heard.
Goldie and Old Plighty attack lemure [1d20+1] = 15+1 = 16 [1d4+1] = 4+1 = 5 [1d20] = 12 [1d6] = 5Geoffrey Blood longsword [1d20] = 10 damage [1d8] = 7
Zoggrot hacks with cutlass [1d20+5] = 4+5 = 9 [1d8+5] = 5+5 = 10
The combined force of lemures, the meat feast to satisfy their constant hunger before them, launch their strikes. Bony flails bash and beat the party forcing them backwards step after step. Some lemures breakthrough the line and wriggle towards the group gathered by the deceased captain and slave scroll. A snarling leopard and mage bodyguard bear the brunt as they act as line backers to Iggway and Siggard. Damages is sustained as follows:
Zog -1, Goldie -3, Al -1, Stub -2, Fenis -1, OP critted for -6, Pocc -3, Leo -3, VdP critted for -5.
overwhelmed, peg leg Plighty falls unconscious.
Lemure on Rex & Fishy [1d20] = 6 [1d20] = 3 damage [1d3] = 3 [1d3] = 2
Lemure on Zog & Goldie [1d20] = 15 [1d20] = 12 damage [1d3] = 1 [1d3] = 3
Lemure on Alderhay & Rene [1d20] = 10 [1d20] = 8 damage [1d3] = 1 [1d3] = 3

Lemures attacks on Van de Poel [1d20] = 3 [1d20] = 20 damage [1d3] = 1 [1d3] = 2
Pocc gets the call for aid. He can't leave the melee but Roger & Gaston can. He reaches into his pouch and withdraws a corded rolled scroll. They wriggle themselves into the tube-like hole of the scroll and in 'sidewinder' style, snake along the gut floor to bring the scroll down the gut cavern. Face grabs it and bites through the corded tie, handing it to the spell using pair. A team effort. Let us hope it is not in vain ...
next actions please. Iggway roll a [1d100] please.

While others try to remove the curse, Zoggrot helps keep the lemurs down. Grabbing the dead captain's sword in one hand and his own axe in the other, the half-orc lays into the damned like a dervish of steel and vengeance.
Sword +2 & axe v. S/M (THAC0 16): [1d20+3] = 14+3 = 17 [1d8+5] = 7+5 = 12 / [1d20-1] = 11-1 = 10 [1d6+3] = 2+3 = 5

Alderhay attacks the lemures, doing his best to try and keep them off of those trying to lift the curse.

Re: Exploring the 'Guineaman'.
Siggard hasn’t known the strange shaman woman for very long, but he has never seen her look this serious before. Yet, in all the chaos of little devils and slimy gut walls, her eyes remain calm, as if she somehow knows exactly what she should do.
He holds the palms of the severed hands and other hand parts down on the skin parchment as best he can manage, letting Face grab any fingers that attempt to squirm away and dearly hoping that something actually comes of all this insanity. When he sees the actions of the animals helping in any way they can, it becomes very apparent that this is now a do or die situation for the crew.
He shouts, “read the scroll, sister Iggway! Remove the curse! Free the souls an banish this abomination!” Hoping that they got this right.
