I dont know that he was an angel, but man when he shook my hand it felt like my molars were gonna pop like popcorn there was so much PKE in the air. But if what i know about Raguel is right hes more like a deputy... he pauses and then quips more lighthearted Assuming our hunch is right that is.

Shakes her head. Do I need to start getting used to all this weird as a daily thing? Cause this is quickly turning into a daily thing... She thinks for a moment. Angels huh? Well, that I can at least get behind. The idea of angels being around is pretty common for most folks around here but in a more biblical sense. You'll find most people here very religious. I don't know a single person that has not said at one time or another they felt like something happened and they had a guardian angel watching out for them.
My advice? Believe in angels before anything else short of God himself. Where did all this happen anyway? You guys have been hoping about so much lately I can't keep up. Do I need to be making up an invoice or anything?

We wandered down to the gallows last night and met up with someone...that might...or might not...be an angel. I wouldn't worry about an invoice just yet. This is just part of getting the lay of the land. Not something we could really bill to anyone, I don't think, anyway. But yeah, weird is pretty much gonna be our normal in this business. Beats working in a dentist's office or something, doesn't it?

What we know/suspect so far

+Kindle is definitely in the Church of the Living God

`Belmont may or may not be in service to him and may or may not be aware of it.

`Papa Popescu is helping with rituals and history

`Papa Popescu loaned Jason a Journal of his grandfather with information

`Stories so far say that Kindle was trapped in a Beech tree by PPP the First

`A French soldier made a cross from the remains of the beech tree before it could all be destroyed by PPP the Second.

`That same cross has traveled to the hands of Father Belmont's father and is now in his possession in the church he helped build after the original burned down with his drunkard father within it.

`Guilt seems to be a key factor in the victims that have disappeared in connection to the church and its TV program.

+The Fort Smith Historic Site has PKE readings off the chart!

`Set PKE to read at infinity and dial down to keep from shorting out the Phones and Extention components.

`Encounter with Ghost/Angel of Bass Reeves?

`Connection to the Arch Angel Raguel?

+Gabby's parents came over to the US as children after Viet Nam, got married and had kids, currently own a restaurant in town.

`Gabby studied law and changed her name from Phin to Pendleton to get a job with the "Good Ol Boys" in the city.

`Gabby has a big brother, Kien, who doesn't like Jason.

Etta: "Julia, we have a couple non-essentials scheduled for this morning, right? I suppose it'd be bad form to blow off our schedule on its first day. So, as much as I want to rush down to the courthouse, let's go pay some bills, boys. But assuming we don't uncover a third apocalypse-level entity, let's head back to the courthouse around lunch, with our phones calibrated for major fireworks."

Jason has had been carefully adding to the conspiracy theorists looking board as the others were talking, finishing up in time to hear Ettas plan. Sounds like a good plan, whats on the docket for today's weirdness?

Julia The non emergency jobs, right. Let me go get those... Oh! and Roy, I was wondering if you might want to listen to an idea I had last night for our filing system later if you have some time?

Just for giggles, the first person to see this, please roll me a d100 and lets see if we get some chaos :)

Roy raises an eyebrow "Filing? You still have paper files?" he sounds amazed that someone would still be using the archaic system of physical paper files. "Sure I'll help with that. I've got the time." [1d100] = 13

Darn! Oh... I mean... Good work Ed!

Julia waves Roy along with her as she goes back out front to her desk. So we have calls that come in and I fill out the forms, which of course pile up right? I was thinking... What if we made an app that I could have on my desktop here and it would send the forms to a share file of some kind that would then forward to an app extension on your phones. We could tag them for priority from there and that way any time you need to, you can review the pending jobs we have instead of me sorting them here. Heck, maybe we can add a video game aspect to it or something too. Keep score of who takes care of the most jobs or something... earn badges or something.

As if to make her point she hands him the three stacks of forms all binder clipped together. What do you think?

Etta pipes in on Julia's suggestion: "What you're describing is a database with a few extra bells and whistles—we librarians use a lot of databases, so I have a decent idea of what the options are. We wouldn't have to build anything from scratch. We can get one off-the-shelf with the basic functionality we need, and Roy could customize it to our needs, maybe? We could have it in place this afternoon.

"Alright, let's split into two teams; one job each. Since Jason and I are both researchers, it might make sense to split us up. Lionel, how'd you feel about escorting an old lady around for the morning? Mac and Roy, how would you feel about heading out with Jason?

"And remember, we're just investigating and classifying. If there's something there that needs 'Busting, we'll schedule to come back with the whole team. If there's any immediate threat to life or property, call the other team to come running."

Roy shrugs nonchalantly "Sure I don't mind going with Jason."

Jason works diligently in the Library trying to streamline thier info on Kindle and work out a plan of attack. He pulls out a couple of fresh whiteboards and begins to sift thru the notes carefully writing the highlights onto each respective board:

Kindle:
What's going on with Father Belmont?
Kindle the Romanian Demon of Guilt
Ritual to Bind or destroy the demon?
Kindle is definitely in the Church of the Living God
Belmont may or may not be in service to him and may or may not be aware of it.
Papa Popescu is helping with rituals and history
Papa Popescu loaned Jason a Journal of his grandfather with information
Stories so far say that Kindle was trapped in a Beech tree by PPP the First
A French soldier made a cross from the remains of the beech tree before it could all be destroyed by PPP the Second.
That same cross has traveled to the hands of Father Belmont's father and is now in his possession in the church he helped build after the original burned down with his drunkard father within it.
Guilt seems to be a key factor in the victims that have disappeared in connection to the church and its TV program.

Old Courthouse:
Get with the Good Ol Boys about a permit for the Historic Site.
Follow up on the initial investigation.
Check on information that might further link Bass Reeves and the Archangel Ragdu connection.
Investigate the Courthouse itself.
Lots of hints at haunting on the grounds.
Possible encounter at the gallows.
As you get farther away from the Historic Site, the ambient readings become more normal.
Lots of hints at haunting on the grounds.
Possible encounter at the gallows.
The Fort Smith Historic Site has PKE readings off the chart!
Set PKE to read at infinity and dial down to keep from shorting out the Phones and Extention components.
Encounter with Ghost/Angel of Bass Reeves?
Connection to the Arch Angel Raguel?

Misc:
Check on a lead about city documents on old hauntings.

As Jason finishes up the white boards he picks up Papa P's journal and sits at his desk, before he opens it having looked through the notes he decides to take care of some business first, firing off an email to Julia

Good Morning,
Can we please send some flowers and a card to Jakes hospital room from the franchise? Want to let them know he is in our thoughts. Also a best wishes card to Etta, I know she wouldn't have left this in a hurry if it wasn't important.
Thanks!
Jason.

Then he begins looking around the internet until he finds a local delivery gig site and places the following order:

Please deliver a basket with assorted fruit, bread, and tiny liquor bottles to the chapel at Mercy Smith hospital. Just place the basket in an out of the way place with a tag to Jack Feelgoode. Please add the note "From your friendly Ghostbuster Jason, thanks for the help while I was out of it" Clicking thru to finish the order he pulls out his debit card and is sure to tip very well.

He then pulls out his phone and sends a message to Gabby Hope your doing good this morning, I feel great. If your up to it would you want to get something to eat tonight? After last night tho, no BBQ...Maybe a salad

He then goes to reading the journal waiting for the others.
