Correct, just below the skeleton pic. It's just my way of pointing the group in the right direction.Rukellian wrote:So, if I am looking at the map properly... we are on the bottom of it, just below the skeleton picture? You mentioned that the western and eastern passages are blocked off. Is that you just modifying the map to your campaign? .
Your welcome. There are tons of nasty random encounters the other directions.
Re: OOC Thread
If somebody has a rope, maybe Gilnes can "climb-walls" to the other side and secure it somehow... anyone got a hook, spike, or something?

Re: OOC Thread
I have some rope on me you can use I think I also have some metal spikes that we might use to secure it.
Edit: nope no spikes but yes I have rope. 50' hemp rope.

*Putting away his sword to look through his pack*... I've got a grappling hook, 4 spikes and 50 feet rope.*setting it out*.... I'm sure burning would work - but I am concerned that it would be slow and hot. Perhaps once past we can burn them, slow down followers and clear our return.

If we go with the plan, for Gilnes to climb-walls to the other side of the pit.
I guess he ties the rope to himself, takes the hook if it can be used as the best means to secure the rope, and goes across. Anyone with strength should hold the rope, just in case the unlikely happens.
Climb-walls (95%)
[1d100] = 14

Mine was more of an "if" we do the climb-walls plan "then" here is my roll.

yeah but it appears to be the best idea so far.

Re: OOC Thread
I would have implemented my idea, but apparently Benson didn't find anything to toss onto the stuff to jump to. Which makes climb walls good. Still not a fan of burning since the smoke and heat would be nasty.

Re: OOC Thread
This was again a situation where talking about the action before performing would have likely helped... We had two lengths of rope, 4 spikes. That could have been a hand and foot rope crossing along the wall. Much easier then scooching along a single rope...
