bhart: I am currently on the road for my job...and will be for the next 9 days. My internet connection/available time on-line is likely to be quite minimal; so my posts might be quite short or non-existant for that time.....if this is slowing the action down; please feel free to make whatever actions/rolls are necessary for Xam.

Sorry about this...this was quite unexpected; the person who was supposed to be going on this trip cancelled last minute; and lucky-me was 'volunteered' to go instead. ;(

Sorry for the delay guys. I had my post for the day all written out and like a big dummy I didn't do it in notepad first. I wrote it directly in the browser, which took some time, so when I submitted it the website promptly ate it. :x

I'll reconstruct it and post tomorrow.

Most of the DMs have moved to a process where they write larger posts in Word or Notepad and then just paste it into the forum when they are ready after having similar results once or twice.

Just curious. Are we going to have a thread were the GM will be posting bits of the adventure map on this PbP?

All,

FYI. I am just awaiting Bhart's formal approval of my PC before I begin posting in the IC thread. Thanks!

FYI, I will be out this weekend on spiritual retreat and therefore will not be posting at least until next Monday. Bhart, please feel free to 'NPC' Cirdan as appropriate.

Bhart wrote:Oiran is able to scramble out of the way just in time, however Sterling is not so fortunate. The wave of dirt and rocks crashes down on the paladin (-5hp) partially burying him.
Does this mean Sterling lost 5 HP due to the falling rocks, or that the damage as put him at a -5 HP total? because Oiran's reaction will be considerably different to either case.

It means he looses 5 hp. Sorry for the confusion. :)

Beyond you can see a darkened 10' wide hall that runs 20' to the east before turning north. The walls appear to be carved to resemble bamboo logs.
Huzzah! Great work, folks!

Whew! I was half-expecting a TPK to happen right in the very first room there.
