Tarlyn and Spanningtree have left and I appreciate their participation thus far. That leaves two still on board and no word from Pulpatoon. I’ll drop a PM with him and see where he lies with the game before making any announcements.

No one asked about what materials the tower had to use against the goblins. I waited and waited and after a while a player left the game and I guess I gave up, to be honest.
Ah! I see. Reading through the IC thread, it looks to me like we players were turning in for the night, and were waiting for a "Next morning..." update. If we are in active conflict with goblins, we might need a reminder. At PbP pace, it's easy to lose the trail.

I know that I, as a GM, struggle with player agency versus game pressure. It is important to let the PCs lead when it comes to developing plans, but I also feel the need to act as the ticking clock of the world. Players will dither in difficult situations, hoping that a good opportunity will appear, rather than having to choose to make a sacrifice, or take the worse of two bad choices. And yet so much good game play comes out of players having to make tough decisions.

I'm happy you decided not to ditch the game, Tamerlaine :)

We're probably four, Rusty should still be here too.

Did some maintenance; deleted characters not with the group anymore and added a Hall of Heroes with our first posthumous honoree. Please visit and give your quiet regards to Aldredus. May his late memory serve as a sober reminder to the dangers of ‘adventuring.’

Greetings to all. Missed the opportunity to play in this the first time around when the call went out. Glad to see it popped back up.

Taking inventory here...

- 12 foot bridge (should be a few boards wide)
- 6 foot reinforced door with a window at eye height

Maybe we can add the trap door with ring here, since people said they were building stuff and helping :)

We also got unspecified lengths of usable rope (Cedric and Raynor) and misc. tools.

Head to the mines now?
