OOC Discussion (Session 5)

#1 Post by Ludanto »

It begins!
"Mi pensas, ke mia simio metis sian piedon en vian trinkaĵon."
Neniam dividu la adventurgrupon.
"Ĉu vi volas koboldojn? Ĉar tiel estas kiel oni akiras koboldojn!"

Does anyone know if doing the recap can give Fresh? Rabon has no conditions and his Nature is not drained. So the only reason for me to recap is it I can get Fresh.
My apologies. My rulebook is on a thumb drive and I haven't accessed it recently.

It says no, and that if there's nothing to recover, the GM is too nice. ;) Don't tempt him to be more cruel.

Ha! Now that you say that, I remember reading that once upon a time.

In my defense, we had just left town. No need for Ludanto to be meaner.

Someone else can do the recap then. If no one has anything to recover, I'll do the recap.

Nobody has anything to recover.
You're the only one who hasn't done a recap.
To be fair, the trips to-and-from town were very Rabon-centric.

It's your honor. :)

hi all. I'm sorry for the delay. Between ear infections, a busy coupe weeks at work, halloween, and normal (busy) life/parenting, I haven't gotten to this. I will have time Thursday night though.

In today's issue of Mordite Monday they mention that very thing. https://www.mordite.press/nature

They suggest:

Mordite Press suggests the following: a player with no condition and no taxed nature who delivers a satisfactory prologue may log a passed or failed Nature test for advancement. This should encourage a little enthusiasm on those rare occasions.

Holy cow. I forgot to hit the submit button! Sorry!

I don't have a taxed Nature, FWIW.

Ok, so I love that we are back, but I will be sporadic in my posting over the month of november, as my wedding is this saturday, and the honeymoon starts the day after. I will be by no means ignoring things here, but it is likely I will only be checking once a day, either in the morning or at night.

I am super pumped to be delving beneath the old monastery though, and can't wait to see how Berry will have his innocence eaten away just a little more.

Congrats on the wedding.

This weekend I'll be at Fall-In - the historical miniature wargaming convention in Lancaster PA, and so will Buck unless he's been called away on business.

I, on the other hand, have no life, and will be here throughout. :P Actually, while writing the recap, I realized Marullus was right, that our last session was fairly Rabon-centric. I'll be trying to take a back seat, offering Help to Thag as we use our similar instincts.

Congratulations, again, on the wedding. I love love!
And have a great time at Fall In!

At the moment I'm unemployed, hopefully only until Monday, so I'll be checking in here occasionally.

Hi all. So I'm happy to have Rabon take that test for clearing the rocks, but I thought Alfred or Thag would like to make a test. Buck and Bill, do you care to weigh in?

I'll be using my water to get rid of my condition when I have my next post, I wanted to let Rabon get the first actual response.

We're short on rations (and Allric doesn't want to drink his wine just yet), so I was thinking of waiting for camp so Rabon can try to stretch the cooking test.

Allric will spread the lights and pick up the book. That hopefully reveals more detail for Rabon.

I'm fine using my water, and I think that will lighten the load on the cooking test right?

Nah, it is +0 Ob to cook for one and +1 Ob to cook for "whole party."

Do what's IC, though.

OOC, getting rid of Hungry/Thirsty means you can get it again on the next failure instead of advancing further down the grind. ;)
