Algrim moves towards the robots menacingly with the pointy end of his spear towards them.

Grimes - Fighter

Grimes growls at the robots and uses his ring to turn invisible. "I'm gonna try and get behind em!"

OOC: His intent is to get behind one and poke it with Wave. If they seem to be able to detect him, he'll keep his distance and formulate a new plan.

If the wall of thorns holds the creatures for a while, Dandy will run outside to see what has been released.

ooc: Even if the thorns don't hold the robots, Dandy will run out anyway, hopefully the robots will follow him and give us more room to fight if needed.

Pulling out his wand of ice, Dieter will shore up the wall of thorns with a wall of ice. Dieter will then hold the grey card aloft and yell something about "paying attention".

End Game, round 1

Initiative players [1d6] = 2, baddies [1d6] = 3

The large worker robots get the upper hand... claw... tentacle... whatever... and attack. (Each robot gets 4 attacks)

ROBOT1 attacks Grimes with his pressor beam, trying to throw him out the hatch. monster attack [1d20] = 13, [1d20] = 10, [1d20] = 10, [1d20] = 5 The slippery Grimes avoids the beam.
ROBOT2 attacks Dandy with his pressor beam, trying to throw him out the hatch. monster attack [1d20] = 14, [1d20] = 11, [1d20] = 11, [1d20] = 6 He pushes the dwarf cleric to the edge of the hatch and over.
ROBOT3 attacks Castinus with his pressor beam, trying to throw him out the hatch. monster attack [1d20] = 4, [1d20] = 1, [1d20] = 1, [1d20] = 16 The thief bobs and weaves but the final blast pushes him outside as well.
ROBOT4 attacks Furuk with his pressor beam, trying to throw him out the hatch. monster attack [1d20] = 10, [1d20] = 8, [1d20] = 7, [1d20] = 2 The space-suited half-orc resists!
ROBOT5 attacks Ulster with his pressor beam, trying to throw him out the hatch. monster attack [1d20] = 8, [1d20] = 5, [1d20] = 4, [1d20] = 20 The druid does his best to avoid the beam but the final blast sends him flying out into the space beyond the door.
ROBOT6 attacks Dieter with his pressor beam, trying to throw him out the hatch. monster attack [1d20] = 3, [1d20] = 1, [1d20] = 20, [1d20] = 15 The wizard follows the druid!

Dandy, Castinus, Ulster, and Dieter are outside of the ship, tumbling to the ground below - more stunned than injured. Algrim, Grimes, and Furuk remain within.

Algrim hits ROBOT1 with his spear.
A wall of thorns grows up around the robots, followed by a wall of ice. The robots are surrounded. Algrim is trapped in the icy-thorny circle with the robots.
Grimes disappears.

Realizing Algrim is inside the walls, Grimes will try to spider climb up the nearest wall and across the ceiling to get above him.

How far are we from the door? Ulster has some serious whoop-ass he can unleash into the ship, but range might matter.

Algrim keeps fighting the robot while he is trapped in the thorns with them. "Ain't got much a choice now do i eh?" he mutters aloud.

Castinus, dizzy from the fall, staggers to his feet. He takes a moment to regain his senses and sense of balance. He takes in the fresh mountain air, and the expansive vistas he can see from his vantage point. It's a far cry from that unnatural complex through which he and his companions have been toiling, and in which one is still trapped.

The rogue sneaks one more look at the horizon, then curses. Looking up, he begins to climb the cliff, back to the battle up above.

Can a druid cast spells while in animal form?

I assume he can't transform and cast a spell in the same round, though. If I'm wrong, and he can also cast this round, he will summon a fire elemental to join the battle.
