Overland Travel
Travel Rules (2e)
Player's Handbook > Chapter 14: Time and Movement > Cross-Country Movement
"A normal day's marching lasts for 10 hours, including reasonable stops for rest and meals. Under normal conditions, a character can walk twice his movement rate in miles in those 10 hours. Thus, an unencumbered man can walk 24 miles across clear terrain."

    Move 6 = 12 Miles
    Move 9 = 18 Miles
    Move 12 = 24 Miles

Slowest movement rate: 4 (Delgrot, Unna)
Movement rate of 4 = 8 miles per day.
1 Hex = 4 miles
2 Hexes per day.

  • Red Larch > Beliard: 10 Hexes (5 Days)

Note
The map is from the 5e 'Princes of the Apocalypse' hardcover adventure, but just the map from that module is being repurposed; all locations will be customized to fit the current campaign.
