Abrex

Abrex says, "You should have know the mirrors had some sort of magical powers Emma. What's that saying. Curiosity killed the cat. Well if we don't watch it we're all going to be cats in here."

Updates: Vanity Gate defeated!

Emma no longer en-spelled by the vanity gate mirrors that Ishaq broke is now out of her "daze" all the mirrors are broken. Asad is still in his coma like slumber carried by enchanted skeletons carrying him around like a log at the behest of Benham. Now with the first few gates defeated/cleared the group has to determine what room is next on the list and what trial/test/curse will it hold?

I will have to update the map later not sure that work would appreciate me going to roll20 on the school network.

Dubb

"Nice work Ishaq. Let's move on." He turns to Benham "Hey. Are you able to cast the spell necessary to dispel someone else's magic? I am able, but not until I pray once more. It's possible that we could remove the curse from our heavy friend."

Dubb motions for Anuzal to lead. "Pick a new door, my friend. We will follow."

Ishaq

The big barbarian points at the skeletons who carry Asad.

Frowning slightly, he asks innocently "Don't they tire carrying Asad everywhere? I know I would.

Abrex

Abrex says, "Yeah. Let's pick a door and keep going. One gate down I guess. A few more to go. So we will be tested my friends by temptations to be rash. Fate will shine on us if we allow it to."

You don't realize it but you have passed/defeated 4 gates total so far.

Benham Iskandar

Well, Ishaq, the skeletons don't tire because they are dead. They have no need of rest, although at some point they will hopefully earn their eternal rest. Nice job with the mirrors, by the way. Sometimes it seems that Ishaq smash! is precisely what we need.

Unfortunately, those are spells I am not familiar enough with to send Jafar to fetch. As you've no doubt noticed, he is not the brightest torch on the wall and needs things explained explicitly. If I see you cast them, I could potentially request them in the future, although I prefer not messing with divine spells and angering a god by stealing a spell from them.

Ishaq

Trying to comprehend , the barbarian says

"So if someone tries to cast this dispel spell, Asad should wake up?"

Turning to Benham, he grins sheepishly "I never thought of it that way, I Mostly try to bash skeletons, not use them in our particular fashion."

Perhaps... The success of that particular spell relies on the skill and power of the casters. If I were to attempt to dispel something cast by a powerful wizard, I would be unable to counter it, whereas that same wizard could easily nullify my spells.

Chuckling, the sha'ir responds. Of course you do. Previously, any animate skeletons you have encountered have most likely been trying to kill you. If we had not gotten the gifts from the hermit, they would have attacked us as we all would have expected them to do.

Dubb

"I thought as much Benham, just making sure we've exhausted all the options for now. I'll pray and hopefully receive the proper spells soon."

Dubb follows Anuzal to the next door.

Moving on yet another corridor/waiting area

Anuzal opens the door and finds the next room is just another of the waiting areas with 3 more doors one door going south back into the garden, one going north into another room, and one to the east going into another room presumably. Everyone else converses about different things as the roguish warrior moves onward.

Abrex

Abrex move up with Anuzal and as he gets close calls out softly, "Hey.....Anuzal. How's it going my friend?"

Abrex has his sword drawn and ready just in case something sneaks up on him.

Emma

Follows Anuzal to see what is in the next room. I have a feeling each of these rooms is going to be a deifferent theme with a different trap. The garden was sloth... lulling one to sleep, the mirrors were vanity... we know then that the one with treasure, which seemed more obvious, must be greed. What do you think? 7 sins?

Ishaq

Ishaq stays near Emma, but keeps an eye out for trouble.

Hmm. The room where we smelled food was likely gluttony, then. I think you may have hit upon a way to solve these rooms, Emma. Well done. Benham and his skeletons follow the others.
