Rockhome located in the Northern Reaches
Mountains and lakes are the major features of the land of the Rockhome Dwarves. The three chains of Altan Tepes, to the west, Makkres, to the east and Denwarf’s Spur, at the centre of the nation, are interleaved by two large lakes, Stahl and Klintest. The mountains, while not exceedingly tall, are rugged and often impassable, and only a handful of well-guarded passes give access to Rockhome. At the centre of the nation, built both on the surface and in the caverns of Rockhome’s tallest mountain, is the city of Dengar, the heart of the dwarven kingdom, rivalling in size and surpassing in strength the cities of humankind. Three other major cities exist in Rockhome: Stahl, Evermur and Smaggeft, each crowded with busy dwarven craftsmen and engineers.

Ruins in Rockhome & Penhaligon this should help put some perspective how far away the dwarf turned into a book was from where you are currently. Each Hex is 3 miles distance. The red star is the ruins the red triangle is Penhaligon.

Last page of Kavorkian's Journal
. . . is puzzling. Haradraith 's Keep seems to be where this force is
assembling. It is still weak, but growing. The leader is a self-styled
warrior queen and has an evil spellcaster with her. It seems she is mad,
but is cunning enough to raise this rabble and prepare for-what?
It may be that Arturus 's first-born is this "queen ." She was always
an evil bandit, and she may have stumbled upon some item of evil
power. I may have confirmation from a trusted servant soon.
The " queen " may try to take what she madly thinks is her birthright
by force. Even if she cannot take Penhaligon-and I do not
know how long she will wait, how great her force will grow-she
could destroy Stallanford and wreak havoc along the Duke 's Road.
She MUST be stopped. If only Kaerin were here-I must get word to
him about this . . . .
