Seeing the dragonpriest come back to life, the sorcerer reacts reflexively, firing off a spell that requires no real thought on his part. Unfortunately, being startled as he was, the bolt of fire ends up going higher than he wanted it to.

Sky seems unsurprised that the dragonpriest got back up. She is a bit surprised that it tried to communicate. She takes a break from grooming to spit more insults.

Round 5
"Du vil dø!" the dragonpriest spits in its unfamiliar tongue as it stares at Klilxuac before lunging at the dragonborn looking to protect its scrolls. The jaws of the troll snip the sorcerer, leaving a healthy gash in his side, but the wounds prove to be unfatal. (-5)
Seeing the dragonpriest come back to life, Klilxuac reacts reflexively, firing off a spell that requires no real thought on his part, but the gash in his side causes the fleck of fire from his Fire Bolt spell to fluttering harmlessly overhead.
"I thought killing you would help the stench... I was wrong," Sky taunts, taking a break from grooming herself. Unlike the previous attempts, the regenerating horror seems to be unaffected by her most recent insult.
Aubron backs into the nearest corner, takes aim with his longbow, and lets loose an arrow which shaves off one of the thick braids of hair that drape down from the creatures head, but doesn't seem to have any damaging effect. The troll readies its next attack.

Yikes. It's not over yet, but all that talk about a second game may end up being a reboot of this game... or a fresh start of another.

Visibly upset by the troll ignoring her, Sky gets serious. Her mouth starts moving, but no sound is escaping. She focuses her attention on the troll and glares at him in a manner usually reserved for men who did something dumb.

Round 6
The dragonpriest lunges at Klilxuac with teeth bared, clamping down on and penetrating through Klilxuac's scale defenses. The dragonborn, readying to unleash his pain and anger on the troll, colapses to the ground next to Kelben before he's able to release his natural breath weapon. The sorcerer's 'light' spell becomes extinguished.
Sky, visibly upset by the troll ignoring her, appears to mouth some words, but no sound seems to pass her lips. The tabaxi most definitely has the dragonpriest's attention now as it bellows out in obvious pain, covering its ears, and quickly retreats into the far corner of the room.
Aubron quickly readies another arrow into his bow and sends it in the troll's direction, with hopes that Solonor would bless its' path, but, still wracked with pain, the dragonpriest keels over at the last instant causing the arrow to sail harmlessly overhead and shatters against the far wall. The troll dragonpriest continues to wail in agony.

Sky
And then there were two.
Sky watches in horror as the dragonborn falls. Her spirits are lifted momentarily as the troll runs away in pain, only to be pulled back to earth as the arrow crashes against the stone wall.
Sky lashes out at the troll once more. "You have failed. Your temple lie in ruins. You will not be judged by history, because you will not be remembered. Your name is Nothing. Your legacy is nothing." She then starts humming a battle tune to boost Aubrons morale.
It provokes images of a man running up stairs in a grey hoodie.
Edited to reflect changes discussed in OOC
Sky is jubilant to see the troll fall once again. Her joy is short-lived as she remembers how little time she has before it gets back up. "Aubron! We need to flee!" Sky grabs Kelben and carries the gnome into the pit.

Aubron
The elven ranger saw the tabaxi leave with the gnome and knew that he had only one chance at victory over this evil dragonpriest. His time in the High Forest taught him many things about its' denizens and not just the good ones. Trolls were susceptible to fire, and with this one down on the ground, he knew he had to burn it before it got back up. He put his bow on his back, and took out a torch from his pack. With the grace that his race is known for he lit it and ran towards the troll, pulling his short sword as he did.
When he saw the foul beast on the ground spewing black blood from its wounds, his stomach nearly turned. He placed the tip of torch against the troll's skin attempting to end it's undead life once and for all.

Round 7
The dragonpriest, furious at being disrupted, and for its disrupters to begin pillaging through his possessions, regenerates again and immediately springs to its feet. "Jeg vil avslutte deg nå," it snarls in its foreign tongue while its eyes fix on Sky, whom previously taunted it with haunting words. The troll lunges at the bard, digging its razor sharp teeth into the tabaxi's fur, causing Sky to hiss in pain before the succumbing to the shooting pain and joining Kelben and Klilxuac in a state of unconsciousness.
Auborn, the lone survivor...
---
Shaede, as the situation has changed, and you cannot simply touch the troll with your torch (as described in your post), go ahead and let you revise your declared action for round 7.
I'll ask for round 8 actions and death saving throws after round 7 is resolved.

One by one, his companions fell. The ranger knew very well that this was his last stand. He knocked an arrow and quickly said a prayer to Solonor. My time may have come. This I know and accept. I just pray that you will bring me into the Tree of Life when I see you soon.
Aubron's breathing relaxed. He closed one eye and took aim at the Dragonpriest. His arrow left the bow, and he watched as it pierced the thing's vile flesh. More blood flowed from it, and he hoped that this was all that was needed to bring it down for good.

Round 7: End
Auborn, watching as his companions fell to the dragonpriest one after the other, accepts that this tomb may very well represent his final stand. The elf says a quick prayer to Solonor, knocks an arrow, and watches the direct hit sink into the troll's right shoulder, causing the beast to release its bite against Sky as it roars briefly in pain before collapsing yet again into a state of very temporary unconsciousness. The ranger realizes it's on a matter of moments before the creature will be able to rise again.

Do you have an action for if the troll does spring back to its feet immediately?

Sky
Sky is equal parts amazed and irritated that the troll jumped right back up after being dropped. She doesn't even have time to grab the gnome before she feels the cold clammy bite of the beast. Which is the last thing she feels as she drops unceremoniously to the floor.

Re: Session 1: The Citadel
Sometimes this summer I will most likely be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.

Round 8
Auborn, laboring from his own heavy wounds, cautiously waits for the troll to spring back to life after being struck down by his arrow moments earlier... but the troll doesn't rise.
The ranger lights a torch (Action: Use an Object), approaches the motionless and bloody form of the troll (Partial Move: 10-feet remaining), and lowers the burning torch, touching it to an open wound on the troll's body (Other Activity).
The troll screeches in pain and erupts to its feet as the flame inflicts less harm to it than it managed to regenerate. Prepared to attack if attacked itself (Action: Ready | Trigger: If Attacked), the near-dead creature lunges at Auborn and just manages to sink its teeth into the thigh of the elven ranger, rendering him unconscious as well. Then, much to the troll's (and everyone else's) surprise, Farador reemerges from the pit and, sensing Klilxuac with his fire capabilites will have the best shot at finally putting this dragonpriest to an end, casts 'Cure Wounds' on the dragonborn, restoring the sorcerer to full strength!
---
We either go TPK, or accept Farador back into the game as a (temporary) NPC. I am fine either way, but am going to operate under the assumption that the group wants the game to continue and allow Farador to act at the end of round 8.
If not, we can discuss next steps -- new game, restart this one with new characters, game over, something else. If so, here is where things stand:
Kelben remains stable.
I will need the following for round 9:

Date: 12 Flamerule 1489
Time: 17:50 (Sunrise: 05:51, Sunset: 20:05)
Temp: 63°F
