Sigrun smiles back amiably and replies “Ah, but then I'd know what I was doing!” then she breaks into a reckless grin and declares “I will retain my shield of ignorance”. Sigrun then glances sideways at Zaki with a mischievous glint in her eye and continues “We used to swear by our old autodoc because it was never surly or drunk - unlike the ship’s medic. It was an old Imperial model running on Vargr software which gave it a strange Solomani accent. It was alright unless you were alone with it” with mock solemnity she confides “I think it had been struck off!”

We have 152T of cargo space to fill, less and mail we backfill with. I think we will do better with cargo than mail. Then of course there is fuel, and any upgrades we want. A steward is a must as well.

Let's start with cargo options, and passage then we know our budget.

OOC we're pushing 8 LSP wigs as biofreight out and back. NO need for more passengers, unless we wanna load up the freezers.

Carlos shrugs. "I've had the basic first aid course the IISS makes you take. But that's about it. And it was a long time ago. Thank Buddah I never needed it." He sips some more zapana. "We need more of this stuff, of course. And we better not skimp on ship's stores if we want passengers again. And info. Eduardo'll need to know what to expect. Captain Ito-san, would it be possible to have a copy of your personal log?"

He's also just shy of his engineer cert, I believe he was studying that in his spare time; a jump or two with his nose in the books he might have it

Sigrun notes Carlos and Zaki’s preparations for departure and addresses Keen Haber. “Mr Haber, I assume you don’t employ alarmists in your Corporation's Security section and therefore that the threat from General Products is both present and real”. She looks about the company and, catching John Lee’s eye, coolly delivers “Mr. Petamore, you and I are not known to General Products and so we will also enjoy a romantic trip to Startown – bring your sidearm”.

Sigrun plans to shadow Carlos and Zaki to keep them out of trouble.

"You Scouts don't even know what a 'hawaiian' is or was. It could have been an ancient death cult or something. I do know that it has to be something from the Solomani, because no Vilani would be caught dead in a shirt like that." Zaki grins, and then sobers. "In all seriousness, please be careful regarding Sigrun and her meeting new people. Yes, she's a great soldier, but she's endured a lot of trauma, and that affects people in different ways. I'm not specifically worried about her, but I'm no mental health specialist, so there may be signs that I'm not picking up."

Of course, she's worn those shirts a few times...
