Ulster watches with interest as the froghemoth devours his insect attack. If only the result had been useful.
He lobs a sleep grenade at the beast.

Initiative players [1d6] = 5, baddies [1d6] = 6
Kermit bite Algrim again dmg [5d10] = 22.
The tentacles squeeze Kermit dmg [3d4x3] = 8x3 = 24 and the umber hulk dmg [3d4] = 6.
Grimes stabs the thing with his aqua-fork. Its mouth opens for a tick, as he processes the new damage.
Algrim seizes his opportunity and breaks free when Kermit's mouth is open. He spears the thing.
Dandy enters the fray, grabbing what he can and attempting to send the froghemoth away. kermit save vs spells (7) [1d20] = 17 Kermit resists!
A swarm of mystical energy arcs from Dieter's outstretched fingers and hits the froghemoth. Castinus bow of doubling [1d20+3] = 8+3 = 11, [1d20+3] = 5+3 = 8 Castinus' shots hit their mark dmg [1d8+3] = 4+3 = 7 dmg [1d8+3] = 7+3 = 10. Furuk's does too, and the beast falters! Ulster tosses in a grenade for good measure, but the damage is done. The grenade flies into its mouth and a soft *boom* is heard within the creature as it slides slowly off the bridge.
Dieter (autopilot) quickly dispels the tentacles before they can grab those on the bridge.

Algrim takes out one of the healing sprays and applies it to his injuries. I forget the roll for this healing spray as i had not used one until now.

The umber hulk was pretty seriously wounded, so I'm giving him a morale check.

Grimes hears from some fish. They say that Kermit has a stash underwater under the bridge. Lots of "people stuff".

Algrim finished off the spray. It is cool and refreshing, tingling a bit where bite marks still scar until they fade a bit. He is still shagged out from the battle but feeling much more himself.
The party contemplates what treasures await them in the water, but to go to see what the umber hulk has gotten into.
The hulk is embroiled in battle with a giant plant, which appears to be getting the better of him. The plant has broad, ribbed leaves radiating out 5'-7' from its bushy center where plump and delicious smelling white berries abound. Sprouting from the bushy center are four tough stalk-like leaves with sharp edges and jagged thorny projections which remind the viewer of a saw. The Umber Hulk apparently stepped within the radius of the low growing ribbed leaves and found that these growths snapped shut, holding it fast. The saw-like stalks are railing the hulk to shed its juices and shred its flesh to feed the plant. The umber hulk struggles to get free [1d100] = 1 but cannot. The leaves hack away. [1d4+1] = 3+1 = 4, [1d4+1] = 1+1 = 2, [1d4+1] = 4+1 = 5, [1d4+1] = 4+1 = 5
The umber hulk is being flayed before your very eyes!
