You climb up to the ledge, where Malibran imparts his most powerful prayers on Xale and Tanner, bringing them to nearly full health
(Xale: +76 HP, Tanner: +74 HP).
The Unseen Servant heals some of his own wounds
(+12 HP) then borrows one of the light sources and peers into the newly-revealed tunnel. The passage is about 10' long, opening into a room that is 20' across. On the wall across from the tunnel, six skeletal corpses hang from rusted chains. The forward wall of the room is about 10' to the left of the entry tunnel; Khogeki cannot make out the aft wall from his position.
You gather in the bunk room. Malibran places a glyph in the intersection to the fore of the room, designed to shock anyone or anything that triggers it. He tells everyone of the command words to bypass it:
"proctect nocere nos."
You set watches, but your sleep is undisturbed.
Please post spell lists in the OOC thread (if the lists look like what I have posted here, that will make your DM's life a little easier). Remember that cleric spell lists are at a lower level: Malibran as a 13th level cleric and Xale at 9th level.

The Unseen Servant meditates without anchor or thoughts.
Behind closed eyes, he is far away.
He opens them and returns to Hell.
"Shall we ascend above deck to see if the infernal landscape remains unchanged?"

Odilo wakes stretches his arms, fingers and back, yawns scratches his back and cracks his neck then decides it is time to get up and see what hell has in store on this day for the group. "I guess if we shall we shall master monk."

Xale
Xale prepares himself to do battle once more. "Agreed, but I am not sure we can even trust our own eyes at times."

Tanner
Probably a waste of time- things didn't seem to change while we were up there before. I'll wait at the bottom of the ladder for you.

The Unseen Servant nods once and silently pads above deck to observe the current state of Pandemonium.
If he is alone in this endeavor, he will render himself invisible first.

Xale
Once Xale has a Cure Serious Wounds spell back this will occur.
Xale walks over to Rool and casts Cure Serious Wounds on him,
"Here this should help you out Rool."
[2d8+1] = 9+1 = 10 cure serious wounds

Rool Diov
Rool thanks his dwarven comrade, "Much obliged." He does an inventory of his equipment to see if anything was lost during the plunge down the magic waterfall.

While the others remain below, Hallagad and the Unseen Servant climb back up to the top of the ship to see if the scenery has changed.
Demonwing still sails on a river of black water. Above it is a sky the color of a battlefield after a long and bloody war, painted in mottled reds of flowing blood mixed with the blacks and greys of dying, oily fires. The landscape is a wide, ashen expanse of bone-white...well, bone. Bone dust, bone fragments, and bones of all sorts of creatures natural and unnatural form the seemingly endless plain. Some distance away, ahead and to port, a herd of snorting, smoking, pitch-black nightmares chase each other, hundreds of feet above the bony fields.

The Unseen Servant looks out at the desolate kingdom of shattered skeletons.
"Changed and unchanged," he whispers to Hallagad.
"I shall check the other hatch."
Then he disappears.
Rendering himself invisible, the humble sensei silently goes to the other hatch in the ship's deck and checks it for traps.
If he finds none, he will listen at it.
If he hears nothing, he will open it, keeping himself to the side. Then, after a few patient heartbeats, he will carefully peer within.

The monk finds himself forcefully and painfully repelled by the invisible barrier that surrounds the sterncastle.
Please roll a save vs. spell.

Khogeki gets knocked back on his tail and lands hard. His hands are numb as he climbs to his feet.
-21 HP (that's half damage).

Admonished for his hubris, the Unseen Servant humbly returns to Hallagad. "I am ready to return below decks," comes a disembodied voice.
Below, he makes himself seen again and serenely reports to the other questers for Vorkath's eternal soul: "The captain's wheel remains protected by a powerful force. I wonder why. Perhaps if we dispel the barrier, we can take control of the ship? Or learn what lies beneath the hatch in the main deck?"

As he listens to his friends' replies, the placid monk steeples his hands and closes his eyes for a moment.
