Me and my character, both, have no issue short-changing her.
Oh, right. Mister-Kent hasn't been on since April.

Okay, one item for Osuna in the first round. I'm going to guess that Baxtaw might be able to use a wand of paralysis, and that a robe can't be worn over armor, so let's have Osuna take the robe. That leaves the wand open for drafting, and gives Lug whatever's left over:

Draft order:
  1. Baxtaw
  2. Bremen
  3. Piers
  4. Lug
Items:
  • The Beer of Guldarim
  • Smithing Hammer of Balthnoc
  • 40lb marble cylinder with dwarf runes
  • 16-inch Wand of basilisk bone
Rusty, what does Bremen want? I'm guessing Baxtaw would take the wand (he's the only one of us who can use it).

Any of the dwarf items are interesting in that he would return it for the good will with the dwarfs. But the Marble Cylinder... What does it do!?!?!? He really wants to know! Also, it is the only dwarf item not from the vault, so it has the best chance of not being an heirloom, I think.

(Besides, Piers already expressed interest in the hammer, and I can see Lug doing magnificent things with that keg! :D )

Lug would indeed be interested a magical jug of beer. :)

I think the only thing left to figure out is if we have use for the 115 gp that's currently left over after reimbursing Bremen and paying for a bard, or if I should just split it up and add it to our shares. Do we need money for whatever Bremen's plan is with the dragon bones? Or for a tribute of some sort?

We're giving the dwarfs all the heirloom jewelry, their shield, and they're accepting that as payment (and good will) for the dragon hide armor.
We're cutting in a dead NPC in on a full share. That seems like a nice tribute without building home anything. (Right?)
The bard is paid (and Jerneau is writing us a poem).
Bremen is reimbursed.
The treasure is split, with Osuna being considered an NPC for magic items.

We won't know about the bones until Bremen talks with the dwarfs. So either we wait on that decision, or we just split it now. But waiting gives us something to deal with later. So let's just split it!

Okey doke. Here, then, is the final split, if everyone agrees.

Off the top:

  • Clauson and/or Baudh Shares: 3,564 gp, 11,250 gp in 3 months, 3 non-heirloom jewelry (500 gp ea.). Total: 16,314 gp.
  • Stantz, Rowine, Crowgar, and Dorbeck's Estate: 207 gp, 937 gp in 3 months, 26 ep, 5 cp, 14 non-heirloom jewelry (500 gp ea.). Total: 8,157 gp.

Bremen leans in closely to Baxtaw and whispers.
We just decided that we would. But a vague version of it. We're you agreeing to that, or were you talking the whole truth? Where you took him out front and failed to notice a trap, leading to a gate crashing down on him? And then, as he struggled to get free he was used as a pin cushion by a bunch of goblins, which spared your life? And then we left his body behind to get eaten by their ancient enemy? Then used his dwarf-blood-soaked-shiepd to lure the dragon into an ambush? Because when it's all spelled out like that, well... It doesn't sound so good.
Baxtaw turns to Bremen. Lugs version may be best. He needs to add he gave his life to save mine. Throwing himself in front a barrage of arrows meant for me. I shall accompany you when you go to Idmi d’dum. If there is any questions. I shall answer them.

I agree with the split adding items Baxtaws character sheet.

I'm probably missing something that was deducted here, but I just added Piers' coins, jewelry, gems etc together and it came to 17,314, not 16,314. (i'm not trying to second guess, was just working out how much I had to spend ;)
Is it 17 or 16?

You, sir, are a troublemaker.

Also, this is why I should always have people check my work.

I just checked my spreadsheet, and the PCs (plus Clauson) should each get 8 diamonds, not 9. I'll correct my post above (and adjust Lug's sheet).

Dang it! I was hoping that the extra 1,000 would pay for a pool table at Pier's new Chapel o' Baudh / Brewpub :D
