The only "treasure" we have is Rhybek's equipment, right? Are we assuming we head back to town from here? Lug would probably want to consult with the dwarves to see what he should do with Rhybek's stuff. He knows the dwarves have funny rules about who owns stuff that used to belong to a dwarf, but he doesn't know what those rules are.

Clay has offered to cast Detect Magic. Once you're safely back at Beith's Watch and have rested, he does so. The Healing potions are, of course, magical. The Battleaxe and Amulet are both imbued by Rhybek himself. (2001xp each)

Once treasure is apportioned, you return to town. You'll arrive at town on the Evening of 19 July. You can respond to Baxtaw's call to arms, or you can organize into a new expedition of your own. I'm going to end this thread.

He isn't interested in the holy symbol. I have a feeling that, with his training, Craig is worth more than 15 gp - and considering Clay would leave him to be a farm animal at Beith's Watch, it seems silly to take him... Does Lug want a trained mule?

Marullus told me in my private forum that the amulet with Moradin's holy symbol on it is magical. He didn't say how, though, except that it's imbued by Rhybek.

I guess I was figuring things out to maximize what Lug got and didn't really count her because it felt selfish for me.

Let's go back to the drawing boards. I was going to give her the dagger, for sure. What else would she want, Marullus?

I was taking all of Rhybek's kit so I can offer it to a hireling at some point, since we need to provide that stuff.

We'll see if Lug's ownership of those items survives his visit to the dwarves.

Lug could use a little cash, but feel free to cut his cash share short.

She would accept one of the axe, amulet, or mule as "key items."

Yes, Clay derives some benefit from gear she gets but that is true of all hirelings retained. The main thing is the cash they get, which is wholly theirs (and that they accept objects d'art at whole value, but that isn't really a factor here.)

If she'll accept the mule, that'll let Lug still take Rhybek's stuff to the dwarves.
