Wolfpack, I think E1 only moved 2 hexes, not 3

Ah, OK. I thought only the final distance between start and finish counted, but I get it now

final distance is used to calculate range for weapons

Re: OOC chatter
By the way, what's the policy on, uh, colorful language?
Re: OOC chatter
My policy? I grew up poor in the south and joined the army at 17 out of high school, so I imagine you could guess mine.

I just don't want to shock or bother anyone if Zeke cuts lose with the words I'm thinking is all.

It's military fiction. I'm not offended.

I also have no issue with it.
Took a quick look at the boards rules, and we should be good as long as we don't use

I think in character should be fine.EXCESSIVE profanity or profanity just for the sake of it

Just an FYI the rest of my day at work’s going to be crazy so I won’t have Zeke’s next post up until probably 7 pm eastern time tonight.

Would really like to upgrade, or at least, do some field modifications to Ivan and Zeke's 'Mechs as soon as possible. Thing about the Wasp that has always annoyed me is that dang leg-mounted SRM 2. SRM 2's are largely useless, unless you have inferno ammunition and the fact that the thing is leg mounted prevents you from opening up the firing arc by twisting your torso and also keeps you from kicking that round, if you fired it.
Heh. Actually, I hate ALL leg mounted weapons for that reason. It's why I never liked the Crusader (in addition to its poor heat dissipation) which is, otherwise, a pretty good heavy 'Mech.

Re: OOC chatter
there will be upgrade chances. This operation is going to be fairly fast and furious as far as game time goes. to bad we can't sit down for 4 hours of real time and knock a bunch of stuff out! I think our pace is good for a PbP though.

Yeah, this is one of the more lively pbp games I've been involved in. And I'm pretty surprised at how quickly and smoothly you can run a BattleTech skirmish in pbp.

believe me it takes a lot on my end! with updating boards, mech sheets, keeping track of movement, combining boards into image files.
I just wish i could figure out a good way to place mech images on the board instead of the P1>, P2>, ect but I can't think of a easy way to do it and maintain hex facing.

You might try the free, browser-based, virtual tabletop in Roll20. I use the VTT for a lot of graphics editing. It's simple and easy to use and you can use snipping tool to clip out the image you create and save it as a file.
Re: OOC chatter
can't access that at work
