"Hold my youing friend" Dredd stays the halflings hand and puts his hand out for the ring.
"This is of elvish origin. I can discern the words 'friends', 'shatter' and 'jump'. Permit me to conduct some experimentation."

Eljayess finishes cleaning her find before speaking up. "These are prayer beads, useful for those practiced in the healing faith. Typically a potent restorative spell and a blessing."

Turning to Freda she adds, "Yes, I am sure"

Dredd puts the ring on, faces the stairs and in elvish says "jump" then will try to jump up the stairs.

Ogre grunts in satisfaction upon seeing the coins and the gems; then his brow furrows in confusion as his companions begin to do strange things with the other objects. After a long moment; he nods his head in understanding as he realizes that these objects might be magical and his fellow party members are attempting to figure out if they do anything out of the ordinary.

While they are testing the objects, Ogre keeps his head on a swivel and makes sure that nothing is sneaking up on them as they revel in the new-found swag....

I believe we are in the room to the right of the "X" in the first attachment on that post you linked, Dave.

That would be the door marked with an "X" in the second attachment.

So we can head north, with a door or hallway going east after a bit.

"Ok... where to next?" Freda asks, slipping the stones into her pouch.

"Let's go dis way." Elwita mumbles as she makes her way to the door on the north wall, which opens into a hallway. She says to the group: "Line up. Single file. Bodget, yer up here wit' me." before exiting the room. She leads the group, pausing before reaching the side passage heading east. To Bodgett: "You up fer scoutin' down dat passage?" she says, motion to the east with her head.
