Eris invited me to join his Traveller game here, so I thought I'd introduce myself here first since I can't yet post in his game...

I've been role playing since fall of 1977 when my best friend got the Holmes Basic D&D set for his birthday. Eventually I got the OD&D boxed set and eventually AD&D and loads of other RPGs including the 1977 Traveller boxed set.

My current gaming interests are OD&D and Classic Traveller, with a very soft spot for RuneQuest (my somewhat battered copy of 1st edition RuneQuest is one of my most prized gaming items), and for one more modern game, Burning Wheel.

I run OD&D and Classic Traveller play by post games over on the odd74 forums, and have recently started a Classic Traveller Google Hangouts game.
