OOC chat
Re: OOC chat
I'd say somewhere in the middle. Eagle and sparrow, certainly. Eagle and Hawk, not so much as both are raptors, and have very similar forms. Similarly, great white and minnow, yes; great white and tiger shark, no. (I might even suggest that great white and orca are too close, because although one is a fish and one a mammal, they are very similar as predators, while a squid or a barracuda, while also predators, have vastly different body shapes from the great white.) Tiger and elephant, yes; tiger and lion, no. Make sense?
Re: OOC chat
It seems like it would be difficult to draw the lines between acceptable shapes (or know what's okay without asking every time).
I'd propose allowing different animals as long as the "base" names are different: thus, hammerhead shark and tiger shark are a no-no, but tiger shark and orca are okay. Tiger and lion are okay; bengal tiger and amur tiger are not. Eagle and hawk? Fine, but not bald eagle and golden eagle.
That's an easy rule to adjudicate (I think), and I can't imagine it having any negative impact on game play.

Sure
Re: OOC chat
Thanks.
Where are we on the map? Can we get to where the Umber Hulk is without going by those trees?

I’m going on vacation and won’t be updating the game for a week or so.
Re: OOC chat
Aw, man. Ulster could have spent the week swimming.

Re: OOC chat
I was hoping to hear you were taking advantage of your location to hit the beaches. We are heading to Charleston area the week after the 4th of July. Nothing like roasting alive on a beach like a rotisserie chicken while your kids hammer you for water and snacks till the sun goes down...greyarea wrote:Destination wedding in Crusty Butt Colorado.tumblingdice wrote:Have fun!
