The innkeeper says he can relay messages to travellers. No bulletin board as most cannot read.

He was quite an actor. Mustache NOT QUITE up to Selleck standards, but a heck of an actor.

Me too, buddy. I was 8yo when I wished I was the one removing my hat to kiss Sally Fields. :(

Thanks.

Did we check whether any of that loot is magical? If none of it is, it's worth a total of 891.34 (assuming selling weapons at half price, getting full value for the gold chain and the tapestry, and that a bardiche is worth the same as a polearm). Do we want to just split that 7 ways as 127 gp, 3 sp, 3 cp each, or should we divvy up exactly what goes to whom?

Just FYI, I'm getting a visit from Hurricane Florence this weekend. Could be just some rain and winds, could be worse. Likely power outages.

I might not update for a few days. Have a great weekend.

Detect magic reveals nothing is magical.

All clear. No major damage, although I know folks affected by flooding.

Good to hear. We managed to get by with only power out for a couple hours. During the early approach of the storm, my wife managed to slice her thumb open requiring a trip to the emergency room and stitches.... that was the extent of our catastrophe. However, my wife has a lot of family in the Lumberton area, which is a flooded mess and getting worse....

Yikes. I'm glad that was the worst of it for you. Now what are you going to do with all of that emergency beer?

Oh, yeah... that.

Almost gone. I needed to stay hydrated for my family. Someone has to make the tough choices...

Kind of a mixed bag but it's good to hear present company fared okay. The clean up efforts I've seen on the news look brutal.

The wife's side of the family are surrounded by water at the moment, they happen to be on one of the patches of high ground near Lumberton, NC, and they have power as of yesterday. Thankfully, they have had generators, four wheel drives, and tons of canned food and meat, so they could probably survive just fine for a couple of weeks at least, so they are doing well - although we can't get down to visit them, as I95 is closed for about 100 miles down that way, and other roads are limited and access controlled by the police. So much flooding, and most of the rivers are still rising, I believe they are supposed to crest tomorrow... what a mess.
