Hi.
I've seen a google+ post about a Castle Gargantua/Into the Odd PbP game around here. I've never tried PbP but was always tempted by the idea, so here I am.
Short bio : I'm a student in modern litterature, in France. I play the harmonica, spend a bit too much time on videogames and most of it reading about or working on tabletop RPG stuff.
Slightly longer RPG bio : I started DMing around 2009. As a twelve year old, I didn't know much about AD&D 2 except that there were funky dices that we used to tell cool stories. I never really stopped. I've played a lot of games, and DMed much more than I've been a player-character. My favorite game has been Apocalypse World, then it was Lamentations of the Flame Princess, then the Little Brown Books. I also love Into the Odd, Sorcerer, Carcosa, and Traveller Classic which I've never played or Ref'd, just read and thought "this is amazing".
As a DM, I place the most importance on player agency, pacing, fun, and letting the dice fall where they may. Not in a particular order. People either die all the time, or almost none at all in my games.
As a PC, I don't know how well I do, but I tend to play as "myself in the shoes of someone else" more than method acting, and usually discover the personnality and background of my character as I play.
