Re: OOC Lounge
Thank god for PDF files! After a long frustrating day in the ER, I've been admitted due to complications of my surgery. Nothing major but bear with me.
Re: OOC Lounge
Thanks boss. That second roll came out MUCH better. Hope everything goes well with your recovery.Tamerlaine wrote:ybn1197, when you pick your race, let me know and I'll tell you which table for Phase 1 to use. Also, your character is a dud with those rolls. Reroll your stats, using 3d6 and arrange to suit (I should have stated this at the beginning, so I'm just going to add this now as a house rule for any future players).

Does that mean I add 2 to my hit points? If so my hit points will be 10.Tamerlaine wrote:You get a +2 total in Constitution bonuses.

Not to worry, my posts won't be that long

Re: OOC Lounge
Actually it means you get to add 2 points to your Constitution (Your race gives you a point and your life event gave you another, both for Constitution). Sorry I didn't make that clear enough.Griffith wrote:Does that mean I add 2 to my hit points? If so my hit points will be 10.Tamerlaine wrote:You get a +2 total in Constitution bonuses.

Ah. I didn't realize you were also doing culture/race stat bonuses. I still need to amend that.Tamerlaine wrote:Actually it means you get to add 2 points to your Constitution (Your race gives you a point and your life event gave you another, both for Constitution). Re: OOC Lounge
Sorry for the hold-up. Its been a real rough couple of days and I haven't been able to visit the site. My hardcover copy of the second edition rules arrived from OBS yesterday (wahoo!) and I will have my character finished up shortly.
Re: OOC Lounge
Tamerlaine, what do you think a set of lock picks costs? On page 25 it states:
However, there are no lock picks in the equipment list.If the thief lacks a proper set of lock picks, they suffer a penalty of -2 or more (as the Crypt Keeper judges) to the attempt. Especially well crafted lock picks may give the thief a bonus to their rolls.

It just comes with being a thief, just like a magic-user's spell book.ybn1197 wrote:Tamerlaine, what do you think a set of lock picks costs? Just a head's up...I'll be replying within the next day or so. I've been working a lot of overtime for Christmas and I've been too tired to respond to my games. I appreciate your patience. I haven't forgotten you guys.

The holidays are over. I think everyone knows everyone gets a pass for not posting over these last few days of hectic chaos. If you did, hey...awesome! More power to you. I don't celebrate New Year's, just too old for it. If you guys do, have at it. It's a pass as well.
