I'm waiting for one more guy to show up. The two that showed interest were no-shows, so if they do show up, I'll try to work them in later.

Charlie Shaw is supposed to be generating a character, and when I hear back from him (and get the chance to finish up the background post to start), we'll start. RL been kickin my ass lately...

I'm working on a Solomani merchant engineer character. I should have it worked out soon...

So, I grew up watching a show on NBC, 'Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom'. It was right before Disney at Grandma's house
In it, this guy name Marlon Perkins would stand there in a bush jacket and narrate while his buddy, Dave, got to do stupid shit... like try to get a spitting cobra to trigger by waving binoculars in it's face, stuff like that. And they would always cut to a commercial when Dave was stuck doing something dangerous... INCLUDING wrestling a crocodile once. And naturally, the commercial was for Mutual of Omaha's insurance....
Then one day I found out that Dave's job was so dangerous that Mutual of Omaha wouldn't give him life insurance! And that's when the cynicism all began...

Yep, I remember that show well.
