OOC IV

The recent casting of Call Lightning brought up a couple of questions in my mind. The druid isn't obligated to concentrate on the spell after casting, but the AOE is fixed once the incantation is complete.

So we'd have to burn Ilfrien's body where she fell--seems reasonable.

Yeah, I'm not going to worry too much about it here. I just didn't want to give the wrong idea to players with druids when it's actually needed in battle or something like that.

That's totally how we play it too with call lightning. It's 360' in every direction though right. So a diameter of 720' all told.

I may be getting my lakes confused. Was the frozen lake where the dragon track was found the same as the nixie lakes?

ETA: Answering my own question, if the dragon lake is at about a 155˚bearing from the farm, it's nowhere near the nixie lakes. Or on the way to Sambord, for that matter. But that dragon's hoard isn't going to loot itself, you know. :D

Or if you don't have cable tv like yours truly here, you can also sneak a peek on Jeopardy.com where they list this week's contestants.

Go, Shannon, go!

I think I know Trebek's first question in the "getting to you you" break.

ETA: ...or not.

Jeopardy! spoilers:
Nice! You looked like you were dead in the water in Double Jeopardy until you pulled Taiwan out of your you-know-where.

Yeah, the "Jade" part of the comment put me in Asia...educated guess after that. Out of all 11 other contestants, Marianne was the one I least wanted to face. She was good in rehearsal.

Dude, you owe the good people of Taiwan a collective high five.

Well done! And $8031 is not a prime, but you can get it by multiplying two primes! How cool are you?

Seriously, well done. I enjoyed watching it. Rooting for the next one.

I feel like now that AB has outed himself, we all owe it to him to do the same. Pics and job titles, for the win!
