"Those are both excellent ideas. Should we take a few of the mercs with us, seeing as we're loaded down with shiny things?"

No, we already have hands full and if it contains a creature you are back to encounters and possibly losing what we got. Save it for next time. My thoughts are on the 'delvers' is that you can pay them to guard but unless one of us is with them you have no idea what they are up to and if they guard efficiently or go wandering around. Hire them sure, but who is staying to boss them, someone who didn't level up perhaps?

Quinn would like to go live it up in Adamas and heal his leg up as well. Before he goes he wants to advertise in Muntberg for a retainer. Quinn offered a few of his 'collectibles' around the party earlier but there were no takers; thulian face mask, mage cloak, spell rune rubbing. If no takers Quinn will flog them in Adamas.

Let me know what Quinns' cash and jewelry share is from the haul.

The treasure is already at the camp. We can just run in, stop at the oracle on the way and check out that door.

Besides the kobold caverns, which have 3 entrances, there are a few places you haven't checked...

West of 28
South of 36
14
45
And a few rooms you bypassed

Some things you've thought about doing:
Hiring the Delvers to do something
Burn out the rats nest
Visit the oracle
Secure a section for yourselves
Take oracle out
Bring the game book to the ghosts
Replace head on statue
Others...?

While back at camp and we are discussing things, Randolpho will search the tube for any runes/traps before opening it. Assuming no problems he will look at the paper carefully. Assuming no issues/explosive runes, he will investigate the brooch.

Randolpho, with some glass vials would be up for a quick trip into the tunnels, to talk to the statue and visit the 'Liguid moon magic' leak we found. He'd like to grab some in a flask before returning to Adamas.

Given how close t is to winter, are we going to winter over in Adamas? We may be better served spending enough time in Adamas to search for retainers there.

"Which door was that? If it's close to the entrance, perhaps."

He rubs his beard a while, looking around their camp. He leans in towards Solaine and speaks softly. "I don't think it's a good idea to leave so much loot here, though. Sure, we have guards, but money talks. And this is a lot of money. It's our biggest score yet - I think we'd best head to Adamas first, hawk it for some coin and then take a well-deserved rest. Come back good and ready."

"It was the room to the west." Room 14, which reminds me I need to update the map. "But your point and Quinn's are taken. I agree that we should go to Adamas first. I just think we shouldn't sell the map until we see what is in that room."

Ranulf nods in agreement. "I think we should hold onto that map until we know we've explored everything. But if we do end up selling it, we should at least wait until were back from Adamas. No point giving those other's time to loot though the place while we're not around to compete with them. And we do need to get to Adamas as soon as we can. Word of this find will travel fast. I'd be surprised people in Muntberg aren't already gossiping. And when words get's about, it will bring out those who think since we took it from the mountain, then they should be able to take it from us."

Torgyr nods. "Agreed. Let's get ourselves out of here."

He starts stomping around camp, sorting out his equipment and making sure things in camp are in good order before leaving.

I think the PCs should go for sure, and it might be good to bring a couple of NPCs as well in case anything happens, but we could leave someone here to guard the camp.

Randolpho carefully examines the tube, and finds no sign of a trap.

Opening it, he finds a brief letter with a diagram at the bottom...

The tower is "almost" done.

If you guys want to take some people and leave some, please let me know who... the forum might be a bit out of date, but you have 4 mercs guarding the camp.

Also, Quinn had an ad for a packbearer out there, but he needs to be around for people to respond...

Randolpho is heading to Adamas as well. He'd like to bring Zim along to spoil/bribe him with some carousing at Randolpho's expense to keep that bench loyalty roll high, but could leave him to command the tower if needed.

Solaine will go to Adamas, leaving U-Tar to study the spellbook at the camp/tower. She will check in on Ide at the chapel before leaving town.

Sounds good. How are you guys transporting all this treasure? Hiking with massively full bags, hiring a wagon, or...?

And the mercs... leaving them to move the camp to the tower once it's finished & guard the tower, or stay in the camp, or...?

Sorry about the technical stuff, it's just one of those things where I want to understand the plan :)

Sounds like you want to leave U Tar behind to manage the mercs (and the pigs for the apeman) like Climent used to do. How much money do you want to give him/how long do you want to be gone for? A month? A season? It's a few days travel down to Adamas (depending on whether you shuffle along with these heavy bags, or do something else) and you probably want to leave a bit of time for business down there, so how big a chunk of money do you want to leave behind for expenses?

Also, do you want U Tar to learn a new spell? He thinks he could probably learn one from one of the spell books... which should he learn?

I apologize, but I can't find the list of spells in the second spell book. The first one (Fredrico's?) has Charm Person, Light, and Ventriloquism right?

We can haul our treasure down on the wagon that delivers our food.
