Parley...OOC chat and questions for player characters.
Re: Parley...OOC chat and questions for player characters.
Normally yes but remember Alderhay is native a 1/2 Elf from Andross so as each race or class gets a distinct benefit, you would start with either a race (Elf or Gauloise) or class (mage or rogue) benefit.
So for Alderhay he can get an additional starting spell or improved skill or chose to have a weapon benefit, in this case proficiency with rapier and pistols. So if you went to specialise in weapons you would be proficient in dagger, swords, pistols with a specific bonus when using rapiers and pistols.

Hey all, some things have come up and I need to take a break. Spearmint will NPC Stubble, and if you need a dour voice of reason, just drag him along.
I've enjoyed gaming with you all, and look forward to whatever the new year brings.

Good times, Leitz! Good luck with your.....things!
Kris.....
I will be attending a 4-day gaming convention this weekend, so I may be unable to post for a few days.
I will try to check in if I can, but will be back in full force on Monday.

GameCon 2019. Green eyed jealous monster appears to devour attendees.
Must fly over sometime as I know several Unseen folk go and host games.

Absolutely!
I would be happy to answer questions if anyone is interested in attending sometime.

In the interest of not having us all split up (unless people want to): are the missions that people are setting up open to all, or are we splintering into little groups?
Re: Parley...OOC chat and questions for player characters.
I think from another OOC post that we are gearing up for a raid together as one group against the Bretons. Sure there was some discussion about what to do next and you made the same point about whatever we chose, do it together. I concur.

Thanks. Just making sure Zoggrot doesn't have to be out there scrounging around for a new mission.

fyi- once I get caught up, I am hopeful to reanimate(?) Geoffrey Blood. Any help in skipping the learning curve, the better...

Hello,
I will be away from the board this weekend, we’re doing a core conversion and new online banking website at work. Yes, it’s going to be horrible!

I am, as usual, confused.
Do we need to pass a charisma check to be able to sign up for the next adventure? If so, how do those checks work? It's described as a 3d6 charisma check, but with an added d6 per point of notoriety—does that mean that the more notorious your PC, the less likely the charisma check is to succeed?

Also.....
I thought we were trying to break up into smaller groups. Will there be other options for adventure, or is this it?
If we don't succeed in wooing the captain........then what?

OM, do you mean we weren't trying to break up into smaller groups? That was my hope - that we'd all go on the same adventure, rather than breaking up into smaller groups.

It doesn't mater to me either way, I just thought I remembered Spearmint saying that he was going to run 2 smaller groups next instead of one huge group.
I could be wrong, I usually am.

Maybe we are splitting into smaller groups and this is how Spearmint is doing it.

I have no idea what Pocc's notoriety is so i am not volunteering.
