Gideon isn't much of a fixer either (d4). Would that even help? If so, do I just put the d4 roll in with a post?

Or is there any way his d8 intuition distinction might help?

Only skills can be lent. You could try to RP d10 Notice, or d8 Perform as following Bosco's orders.
