Torgyr will ask for a lit lantern, and taking it he will move carefully into the room and search for traps near the body. If he finds none, he will motion the party in.

Well if Plud, Torgyr and Randolpho strp across the threshold into the room before Quinn has searched for traps he won't bother. He will stay by Bro Galen in his protection aura.

Quinn doesn't have any particular skill at finding traps. He's a ranger. He also has no skill at mapmaking or first aid (which I note you have gotten gear for, somewhere). Are you asking them to wait while you... run your hands along the edges of the door, or...?

Location: Room 33 (Secret Room)

Several people enter the room, amid discussion of being careful and checking for traps that might have killed the adventurer.

Quinn examines the secret door carefully.

Torgyr and Randolpho investigate the area around the body, looking for a trap that may have killed the adventurer. They find nothing. The body has the previously mentioned chain mail, sword and shield. He's wearing a backpack with torches, a 50 foot coil of rope, and some spoiled rations.

Plud and Ranulf explore the rest of the room. They see the mechanism for the other secret door, on the other side of the room, but they see nothing else of note besides the opening to the north.

The armor was sundered, yes? Does the shield or sword look worth taking? If so, Torgyr will strip them from the fallen adventurer.

Randolpho will attempt to prod the body with his iron spike, before pushing it over and doing a search of the body.

The adventurer's sword and shield seem like regular stuff, like you'd get at the local armorer, not fancy or ornamented in any way. It doesn't have a coat of arms or anything, either.

The adventurer has the stuff mentioned above on him.

Once sone light is applied, the room to the north seems to be a secret treasury.

Unfortunately, it looks like somebody beat you to it. There are big tables and shelves for holding treasure, but most are empty. There is *some* treasure scattered around on the ground... mostly silver and some gems. You also see a black rod lying, forgotten, beneath one of the tables.

You gather up the treasure and head out. You encounter no resistance as you leave, but you do hear loud clanking, like hammering on pipes, coming from somewhere. The sound echoes through the hallways, but you see no creatures.

The air is cold, and a strong wind at the top of the mountain chills you all. Tired and cold, you trudge back to the camp. As you go, the more eagle-eyed among you notice a pair of hawks circling overhead.

You get back to the camp, and find it is much as you left it that morning. There's some stew bubbling on the fire, and the mercenaries welcome you back and ask you to tell them all about it.

(Looks like Randolpho and Solaine level up! Ding ding!)
