Corbin The Lucky

Corbin is a human of average build, with greasy dark hair he is continually brushing out of his face, and a permanent five o'clock shadow. A huge set of fresh scars cover the left side of his face from forehead to lip, and his left eye is covered with a patch. Although difficult to look at, he is unusually light hearted, and is happy to share a story or two in between fits of coughs and wheezing. He wears an ordinary suit of chain mail beneath a worn and dirty tabard, and carries an unadorned shield across his back.

"Fingers" McGraw

"Fingers" is a scrawny kid with matted brown hair and wide blue eyes that are set deep in his pimply face. He seems to have a perpetual sniffle or cough. He wears padded armor and carries a short sword and long bow.

He doesn't go anywhere without Sprinkles, his mottled brown bloodhound/bulldog mix.

The Grizzly Woman

She is what they call a mountain-woman. She has to stoop down and turn sidewise to enter a room. Her wiry brown hair covers a set of thick eyebrows and heavy jaws. She wears a sturdy, long leather tunic secured with a thick belt, and usually doesn't bother with leggings unless it's cold. She talks strange, and about strange things. Her implement of choice is the branch of an oak tree, one end of which is studded with sharpened animal teeth and deer antlers. People call it The Grizzly's Trunk.

The farmers say they've seen bears following her around when she leaves Gaul, which is how she got her name.

Silent

Silent is a large, brooding hulk with dark eyes and a twisted wreck of a nose. His long shanks hide a gruesome scar covering his throat. He does not speak, and no one can ever remember hearing him do so. Rumours swirl about his quietude: some believe he fought a warg and barely survived. Some believe he lost a love long ago and vowed never to speak again. Perhaps the truth is more pedestrian. He communicates with a rough collection of gestures, but can also put quill to paper should the need arise. He does most of his talking with a large sword that is currently slung across his shoulders.

Baxtaw is a tall, thin elf. Tall for an elf. He has a typical look for his race: wiry build, short straight blond hair, lots of brown and green colored clothing. Armed with only a long sword wearing chain mail armor. He's enjoys adventuring with the humans and looks forward to the excursion into a unknown wilderness.

Adalen Noas
A short, heavily tattooed fellow. He is said to be a jack-of-all-trades, good with weapons but preferring subtle approaches. All usual traits for an adventurer, but Adalen's already graying hair and wrinkles give away that this young man hides a tormented past. He is often seen entering the Temple of Gwanwen. He is often seen in a drunken stupor in local inns. Or maybe that's his twin brother?..

Markd
A young man, armed and armored as a warrior but shrouded in his cloak and cowl, he avoids contact with others as much as possible. The reason for this is clear as soon as one sees his face within - a magical sigil glows on his forehead which inspires instant revulsion as soon as it is looked upon. The rest of his unremarkable face is forgotten, the plain face of a young man, a mop of brown hair, and a magical feeling of distain. He gives no name, but is simply called Mark'd by all who've seen him.

Foxy O'Hare




A mystical sigil of an "L" appears spontaneously on Foxy's forehead, faintly glowing and iridescent, the mark of a Liar from the Goddess of Truth. (-1 Reaction Adjustment from NPCs)

Carchannoi the Elf

Carchannoi is a somewhat frail-appearing, even ethereal, elf, completely androgynous –– no one knows its sex. It is young, by human standards a young adult or an adolescent. It hails from one of the famed tracts of elven forest, but more than this it will not say about its former life. In demeanor it is obviously clever and erudite, though not the brilliant magician of legend; it has a personal magnetism of some degree, but far from what elves and other users of magic are said to possess. Most marked is that all its words –– though without obvious haughtiness or pretense –– seem accompanied by a kind of cruel sneer.

Clay Weatherwax
Clay stands 5' 9' with a wiry build. He has chestnut hair, gray eyes and freckles. He has light peach fuzz on the sides of his jaw and upper lip, but has not needed to start shaving yet. He has a string of wooden beads wrapped around his left wrist, from which hangs an amber crystal. In his right hand he holds a staff that looks oversized for youth's holding it. On the whole, there is little threatening about his appearance.

'Blackjack' Amistad is a tall, muscular built young man. He has laboured as a lumberjack in the forests and earned his nickname due to his dark ebony skin colour. Amistad wears simple clothing of denim shorts and hide shirt with a simple linen toga covering his blue tanned banded armour. Complimentary shin greaves and forearm bracers protect legs and arms but still give plenty of room to move freely in battle.

Amistad devotionally prays using an ancestoral totem each sunrise.

Earc is a skinny, red-headed youth with a chipped front tooth on an otherwise plain-looking freckled face. He has trouble hiding the intelligence behind his moss green eyes; it is often taken for arrogance when he really just wants to be helpful. He is dressed in common but well-kept nondescript garb - loose-fitted grey trousers, a fine-spun brown shirt with fitted sleeves, light boots of brown leather, and a stained leather pack on his shoulders. An old but serviceable small sword hangs on his left hip and an unusual black leather pouch hangs on his right. A stained and weathered bracer is strapped around his right forearm.

Malenor Windancer

A pale elf from the Windancer tribe who got in deep with the wrong type of people and left the Midnight Forest in disgrace. Malenor has pale skin with fuligin hair with blue-grey eyes and a scar running down the right side of his face.

Olaf Olafssonsson

Olaf is a dwarf straight out of central casting: short (neither particularly tall nor short for a dwarf), stout, and bearded. Brown hair, brown skin, brown eyes.

He wears immaculately kept banded mail. On its breastplate is the emblem of a crossed pick and hammer over an anvil. He carries a large pick, a blacksmith's hammer, and a heavy crossbow.

He has a pack mule named Pony.

evangelist Brother Kellstrom. Kells is under tutelage at the chapel of Baudh, usually seen polishing the wooden chairs, doors and altar and administering basic duties in the chapel. He like to chant the psalms, quotes from the hymn books and is often seen fervently preaching with much gusto and little success in the market square. He has recently been 'ordained' into the tenets of faith.

Irving Malmstein Rosemont, III, Esq. is a youth (very early 20s) of middling height, athletic construction, and impeccable grooming. He arrived by rented horse, sheathed in shining and fancifully-constructed (but functional) armor, a pack bulging with adventuring supplies from all the best designer houses in the Southlands strapped to his back. From one arm hangs a kite shield marking him as a member of the Malmstein Rosemont family of Durrnberger, their ancient heraldry of three mountains under a storm cloud proudly adorning its face.

As soon as he arrived in town, Irving (Sir Irving? It's not clear if he's a knight, a lawyer, or something else entirely) took a moment to help an old lady circumvent a wide muddy swath on the ground by sweeping her off her feet and carrying her across the road to the entrance of a grocer, despite her protestations that she was headed in the other direction entirely. He flashed her a bright and charming smile before heading off to the tavern to find fellows who might help him satisfy his more adventuresome urges...

Bremen was meant for greatness and intends to let the world know it with histall, athletci build and handsomely-rugged face, which is adorned with a authority-commanding mustache. He insists on being addressed by the title of his last position, "Captain," and carrying a small arsenal on his person so people will know his is a military man, not merely a down-on-his-luck rogue that decided to take up adventuring.

Casper White > Cleric of Gwanwen



Casper stands nearly six-foot tall, having disheveled brown hair and a scruffy beard. He wears chain mail under patchwork clothing, mostly in hues of green and brown. He tends to carry a shield on his back and a mace at his hip. He can usually be seen leading his donkey, 'Ted' to which he sings and tells stories. Ted doesn't complain much, as long as he's fed and watered properly; though he protests loudly, kicking and biting if someone tries to ride him. Casper is quick with a smile and has a considerable amount of patience and charm.

Halfpint

She looks every bit the normal halfling. Not bad or particularly good looking. On her,she carries a bow across her shoulder and a short sword along her belt. A relatively full backpack behind her. She also has what appears to be studded leather armor under her dark brown cloak.
