Re: OCC
Hey everyone -
Looks like we have a pretty diverse (and healthy) selection of classes ~ should I play anything in particular? I'd rather not play a cleric as I'm already playing two (a human & a gnome), but I'm open to play anything else. I can't remember if Monks were in 1e with UA or not.
I was thinking an Elf Magic User, but I'm easy.

Re: OCC
Monks are in the 1e players handbook. If that's the flavor your looking for check out Oriental Adventures also.

Re: OCC
Yup Monks were totally in 1e. Along with a bunch of other great classes in Oriental Adventures.

Starting funds (any excess can be held as coin, gems and/or jewelry) and mage/illusionist rules updated at the top of the PC thread.

Re: OCC
BTW: The stats rolls that you generate can go to any stat you want. EX: You roll 13 14 5 10 9 8. Go ahead those stats to any attribute you would like, for instance: Str:8 Int:14 Wis:9 Dex:13 Con:5 Chr:10. Let me know if you have any questions!

Re: OCC
pm'd mine. Mostly it was not hitting the required numbers at a certain number and up to make the intended class. Tell you what my guy is going to be either really ugly or have a terrible personality with a 6 Cha

Re: OCC
Hope you didn't mind I said Human Ranger in the recruitment thread but I went Half-Elven instead

Re: OCC
It's posted on the PC thread but I'll re-post here: For hit points go ahead and give max for the first two levels and then roll for each subsequent level.

Re: OCC
I think i have forgotten what is the OO manual?
Please roll up the standard 6 attributes using the 4 die drop the lowest method. Organize you stat rolls anyway you would like. For hit points go ahead and give max for the first two levels and then roll for each subsequent level. Please put all of your rolls at the bottom or your character post in this thread and use the Unseen Servant character sheets for the sheet. If you have not done this before PM me. Starting experience is 250001. All AD&D 1E are up for grabs so here is your chance to use UA and OO if you have a hankering. Let's see what everyone comes up with!

Sorry man!! I got notified of new posts in the other thread but not this one!?greyarea wrote:Monks are totally in 1e. And I'd like to play one, if I may, but I can play something else (I figure you got dibs fist, Sumo)
Anyway, you're good ~ I'm going with a Druid.
Also - thanks for the clarification on the 'OO' manual. I knew what UA was, and wondered if OO was actually OA.
The initial Gold allotment ~ are we also able to buy magical items (I'm thinking a potion or two), or is it strictly for standard equipment?

Re: OCC
WOW! Nice sh!tty Hit Point Rolls ~ on a d8: two 1s, a 2, and three 3s ~ wtf? I should've just stuck with the d6 HD option... couldn't have done any worse. On the d8 my highest one roll was a 6.
