NPC Post: Gavin Moorehouse – Human

Gavin meets his opponents without hesitation, unafraid of their spears, determined to smash their skulls in, if for no other reason than being between him and his son.

Unwilling to endure the sting of Caiden’s biting arrows, and unfazed by Caiden’s brave words, the Asiatic Human charges him, hoping to close the distance and take the bowman out swiftly.

Both Bandits continue to attack Gavin, though their resolve seems to be wavering given the overwhelming success of their enemy. They hesitate and jab with their spears while slowly backing up.

Summary: Clash of Arms
Calendar: 9:08 pm - July 10th, 9001
Location: Undercity Bottom Level – Ancient Dock

Caiden seizes the opportunity to show this Asiatic guy what a real fighter is all about and runs straight for him. He closes the distance fast, leaps, grabs the bandit by the head, and slams a rock hard knee into the Bandit’s face. The Bandit reels from the hit and stagers backward several feet.

Norker 2 makes a lunge at the spry kitty, but finds no purchase. Tobias swipes the Norker with a couple of claws to his ass as he slips past. Pirate-Bandit 9, poking and jabbing and retreating with a bit too much haste, stumbles on loose rubble from the recent quake and falls on his ass. Gavin takes immediate advantage of the stumbling Bandits. His first swing crunches the bones of Bandit 8, knocking him several feet to one side. The second Heavy Mace Gavin brings down on the head of the prone Bandit 9, smashing every bit of reason from the man’s mind. Pirate-Bandit 8 drops his longspear and attempts to flee into the shadows. Zirus gives chase with his Snake Sceptre. Kel watches as the Lizardman chases after the human, an inhuman look in his eyes and thick saliva drooling from his scaly lips.

Lyaera, steadying her aim, with a stunned target, fires an arrow into the Asiatic’s chest. The pirate goes down to one knee, tugging at the arrow. In a meaningless tongue the Asiatic Human says, “'annak ln taeish tawilaan l tastamtie nasrakum. fa'inn albahith tajid lak w yakhudh ruhuk !” He begins laughing maniacly then falls to the floor coughing up blood holding the arrow in both hands. He is still alive, though just barely. His eyes gleam with hate as he stares up at Caiden.

Rakjak watches as the party decimates the opposition, waiting for his chance to take the choicest cuts for dinner.

Kel Initiative [1d10] = 7
Lyaera Initiative [1d10] = 10

You guys sure do a good job of not getting hit ;)

NPC Post: Gavin Moorehouse – Human

Removing his helmet and standing over the Asiatic while Lyaera tries to stop the bleeding, Gavin says, "I do not think he will talk. But you are welcome to try. By the look of him, you may want to talk fast." Gavin walks away, headed in the direction Zirus went.

NPC Post: Zirus – Lizard Man
Zirus attempts to trip the somewhat-fleeing bandit and bring him back for questioning, mostly intact (he might taste him, just a little…). When close enough, Zirus will pounce on his victim, and subdue it with a bite to the back of the neck. Once the victim is secure he will march him back to the others, maybe giving it a taste or two first.

Zirus Trip DEX-DC [3d6] = 12

NPC Post: Tobias – Grimalkin (Zirus’ friend)
Tobias continues his circular fight with the scrappy Kobold.

Creature Post:
Pirate Bandit 10 – Human 1 (AC: 13)

The Asiatic attempts to crawl at Caiden, ignoring Lyaera, his eyes blood red and gleaming with hatred, to get at him, to harm him in some way before he dies. The anger at having been bested by a puny archer eats away at his pride. He will die fighting, with the last bit of strength he has. Speaking directly at Caidin, coughing up blood as he goes, keeping his eyes on him, crawling at a painfully slow rate, he says, "'ant! sawf 'aqtulik ... kaff ! alkaf ! ... mae akhar ramq fi hayati , kunt daeif alshshakhsiat alqlyl ghayit jamal ! alkaf !"

CON-DC [3d6-4] = 11-4 = 7

Caiden stares back at the crawling man with admiration and respect, he starts picking him up, "Layrea, don't waste your breath on him, he wouldn't talk even if you cut off all his limbs, we have a better chance hitting that fleeing bandit in the legs", he tries to stabilize the man on his feet as best he can knowing that he could be hit at any moment but paying no mind to it.

Once he is somewhat on his feet he adds, "I do not speak your tongue, but I don't need to understand it to know that you despise me, your eyes say that loud and clear", he puts 1 feet of distance between them, "I respect you, no matter what your purpose is, the lengths you are going through to adhere to your principles is admirable, let us finish this", Caiden will give the man a moment to collect himself before assuming fighting stance.

He will move in to close the small distance between them, lean in stationing his right knee parallel to the man's leg before lunging at him utilizing his knee, launching an open-palm strike with both hands directly to his chest.
