Left an impression on me, yeahh. Left a mark, too. The next day I went out to retrieve my gear, and them Druids was still there, like they be waitin' for me. So I bopped that tall one and took his stick, and made like I was gonna club the othas with it. They runofft, but I nevva went back to that part of the forest again. He holds up his cudgel. Kept the stick, too, yeahh. Nevva could make it hit like thunda tho...

Two days, huh? That bodes pretty well considering how many shows they tape each day.

Then again, you only gave us one air date, which bodes less well.

Don't read too much into anything. 12 of us (plus the returning champion) were told to show up on Tues. Aug 2. 10 of the 12 are typically chosen since they almost always take 2 new contestants per game and they tape five shows per day. The two remaining contestants that aren't chosen return the next day with 9 more. 2 of these 9 are local alternates. One alternate gets chosen, the other goes home and is assured of a place later in the year.

And no matter what happens, we're instructed to give the date of our first appearance - otherwise it's a dead giveaway!
