Background: A former medic of the Spanish Maquis turned air pirate; Che came from a life of privilege and went to school to become a doctor. His ideals and parents' social standing set him against the Franco uprising. He enlisted as a medic in the old regime's army. He was one of many that fled to France after the Nationalists gave the Loyalists a stinging defeat. He is now without a homeland, but dedicated to patching up his comrades so they can undermine any fascists regime out there.

Background: Born and raised in Qubec to a French-Canadian family Jean-Claude grew up speaking both English and French and soon fell in love with flying. After serving in the Royal Canadian AIr Force; at about the time Quebec seceded from Canada; Jean-Claude soon got into several disagrements with some of his fellow pilots. This soon escalated to brawls; and Oulette soon left the service under a mysterious cloud. Whatever his feelings; he soon fell in with a group of Mercenary Air-Pirates led by noted WW1 ace and famous flyer; Hank Chalifoux; and Jean-Claude has been a solid member of the Thunderbolt squadron ever since.

Background: Named after Tsar Nicholas II. Father was a physician for royal family and was executed along with them during the revolution. Nikolai has been fighting bolsheviks since then. Worked in coal plants for 12-16 hour shifts for a few years, seeing many co-workers fired for minor offenses, or die. Fought with the white Russians for many years, finally fled overseas as conditions worsened. Blames the seven members of the Politburo for the revoltuion and all the ills of Russia.

I never got around to describing Jean-Claude: He's about 5'10, very thin (wiry, if you want to be generous- scrawny if you don't). Mostly bald, with thinning black hair and a truly magnificent walrus moustache. He usually wears a fleece-lined jacket over his coveralls, and always has on a Chicago Black Sox cap. He's pretty unremarkable, physically. He has a tattoo on the inside of his left wrist: "Rosa".
