It's just a tomb full of undead. We are putting some old bones back in it to let the dead rest. We'd love the compan... What? No? Okay then..." Such an good way to not have to share any loot!

Dear lord--my apologies for the disappearance last week. I ended up with the flu just as my mother arrived in town, so I've been completely out of commission for almost a week now :/

No worries about the delay. It is one of my favorite thing about imaginary characters. They don't get upset when I put the book down and take a break.

Sorry for the delayed posting--between holidays and some really ridiculous weather, my schedule and availability have been all screwed up. We just got the snowiest day in a century around these parts earlier this week, and are bracing for another hugely destructive ice storm this weekend (after already having one in mid-december).

I thought big snows meant getting to sit inside all day gaming?

Not with a three year old! They mean "Papa, let's go out and play in the snow!" or "Papa, let's play trains!" until you're exhausted and fall asleep in your chair as soon as he's in bed, once you've settled your other chores.

I was going to say the same. I get more peace at work then I do on a snow day!

Ha! Yeah. If there was ever a reason to not use sick days, it is having infants and toddlers at home.

I'm not saying it's terrible--just that it means very little, if any, gaming. Once he's old enough to understand it, it'll be a different story (his mama fears that day's arrival, muahaha).

I've gotta apologize for my extended absence recently - life/work is getting turned upside down for a while and I should have seen it coming and let everyone know.

I'll be out for another while, but would really love to come back. If it's alright with you, please feel free to NPC my character until he either perishes or I return. Or park him, that's ok too.

Again, sorry to just disappear and bail for a while. Hopefully I can get back into the swing in another couple of weeks.
