The tunnels average just under 5-feet in height, so they're not tiny, and won't require anyone to crawl. They are short enough, though, that anyone taller than that will be inconvenienced, and required to crouch when walking, and will be hindered somewhat if forced to fight in the cramped area.

Alethan wrote:"It's not so short you'd have to crawl, but you'd likely be at some slight disadvantage when fighting."Ciar replies."Maybe luring them away from the prisoners might work?"
"Alright, let's go. If Kass and Ciar were brave enough to scout we better be brave enough to fight. Who wants to carry the light?"

Sylvan is itching to slay some kobolds once he hears they are holding slaves.

Sparrow agrees.

Lets just go in there and see what happens. Maybe we could hang out around the corner in the bigger room with the well. Kassal could move to the opening so they can see him. Then he acts surprised and runs back into the room that we are all waiting in. That might get them away from the prisoners so they aren't harmed in the battle.

Or we could just bum rush the little maggots and hope for the best I suppose.

Sparrow is ready to go in, squatting of course.

When enough are ready, Ciar will lead them yo the room with the well. He would be willing to try and lure kobolds out of the slave room, if possible.

Once anyone willing to come along is ready and they've met up in the well room, Ciar will try and lure as many of the kobolds out of the room as possible. He suggests everyone stay against the northern walls on either side of the door with the two Everbright torches covered until he comes back and the kobolds are following him.

He will attempt to sneak down the hallway to the entrance to the room, then suddenly ask, "Anyone know where I can find Mr. A?"

Then he'll turn and run back to the well room. Once he is 15 feet into the room, he'll turn and attack any kobolds who followed.

Mindful of Kassel's suggestion to engage in missile fire first, Sylvan will stand 15' back, spear and shield at the ready. He'll hurl it at the first kobold that comes through the entrance and will then draw his scimitar.

Sparrow waits on the side with his weapons drawn as told.

I suggested the gnome, well, because he's a gnome. I thought Kobolds hated them?

Round 0
Ciar
sneaks down the hallway to the entrance to the room, then suddenly asks, "Anyone know where I can find Mr. A?" before turning and hurrying back south to rejoin the others in the well room. The slaves, when someone speaking common is heard, are heard crying out for help, and plenty of scurrying is heard coming from within the room.

The first kobold rounds the corner at the far north end of the passageway.

Sylvan taunts the kobold in goblin:

"Siz zurufsiz, monu gulin vuk almak!"
"Come and get me, you bastard!"
He braces his spear for a charge, but if it appears the kobold won't charge Sylvan will stand his ground and let someone better armored lead the attack.

"someone shoot it!" hisses Kassal from behind the pillar.

he is the obviously slowest member of the company by a LONG way. Not ideal when trying to lure or outrun anything. I think this would have been observed easily so it isn't giving away any secret stat information or anything.

Fulp remains vigilant and as battle ready as he can. While the others are focused on the north passage, he will keep guard on the eastern one.

Sparrow waits patiently for the creature to run towards his friends and attack. He hopes that staying quiet and holding his position will lure more of the kobolds out of their room so they don't simply kill off all of the prisoners instead.

He puts his index finger to his lips and looks sternly at the others who haven't said anything yet, hoping they catch his meaning. He thinks to himself.... Those little buggers are not going to run out here if they know that they are outnumbered. I thought this was supposed to be a stealth mission? Maybe we need to go over that word to make sure everyone knows what it means.

He prepares his club and dagger for the inevitable close quarters battle that is about to commence, hoping their ruse still works.

Grim spits on his palms, hefts his axe and waits for a Kobold to stick its head out of the passage before swinging for it.

Round 1
The first kobold rounds the corner at the far north end of the passageway and, spying Sylvan positioned in wait in the same location Ciar ends his retreat, quickly darts back in the direction it comes despite the various taunts it receives.

"Well, damn the gods. I bungled the plan. I suppose I should go first to make amends." Sylvan shows fear on his face, but sets his jaw, grabs an Everlight in one hand and spear in the other and chases the kobold through the passage. He'll stop at the entrance to the larger chamber that housed the slaves if he doesn't reach a kobold first. He doesn't want to get surrounded.

If he can get a shot at a kobold within 30', he'll hurl his spear.

Sparrow follows close behind the bungler, watching closely for trip wires or other such traps as they advance into the room. He attacks a kobold if the opportunity presents itself.

Ciar will likewise rush into the room, cutting to the left as he first enters, if possible, and then moving to attack the nearest kobold.

Kassal will let the others rush in wildly and then follow at a more sedate pace, watching out for an ambush or other such danger from behind the companions.

Fulp will let any of the shorter folks go before him.
He will then follow if room. If not, he will continue standing watch from the rear.
