It looks like we'll be split into teams. That'll be fun.

Divvy up amongst spots amongst yourselves.

Army of the Satrap:
(free equipment, big army, penalty to LD if not human, NPC captains may be good or terrible, must protect villages and drive the opponent from the area)

3)

Army of the Pretender:
(poor & small army, allows any race, better guarantee of quality NPC captains, must destroy & pillage villages)

Alright, so it looks like we have these teams:

Army of the Satrap:
1) Rex (Galan Firth, neutral human fighter)
2) Rossik (Rat'azan, avaricious ratman fighter)
3) Rusty Tincanne (TBD)

Army of the Pretender:
(poor & small army, allows any race, better guarantee of quality NPC captains, must destroy & pillage villages)
1) Lordfalco (unnamed ratman)
2) Silvermane (Drocii, neutral sea elf wizard)

I'll ask to have two private subforums made, one for each team, then I'll give each team their private briefing.

the ratman, the dwarf is for the rela campaign thignie not the scenraios as this:)

Alrighty, the private threads are set up.

Everyone check at the top of the game forum, you should see a private folder for yourself, and for your team ("Team A" and "Team B").

I've posted your private briefings in each folder. Your side will discuss your armies and how to start in those folders, and any private discussions with me will happen in your personal private folder.

Once we start playing, you will be restricted in your communications, to help with the fog of war. You'll have to post in your private threads, and if you want to communicate with another PC or NPC you'll have to be in the same place or send a messenger (through me). Battles and "in-person" communication might take place in the group army folders. I'm not going to make a hard rule about it, we'll just wing it as we play. As major things happen I will either move the posts into a public thread or summarize it in a newsletter (the locals who watched from the hilltops spread the news about what happened).

This is exciting, I've been wanting to do this for a while!

I'll be sporadic this next week. Lots of work to do, and my wife should be having a baby any day now.

Also, if anyone would like help with creating an army list, I can drum up a default for you to you look at or use. I'll just flip to a Mesopotamian or Egyptian army list from one of WRG's ancient wargames and use that, so it won't have anything special or geared toward the scenario, but it'll do the job.

I'm sorry to say that I can't actually play this game. I'm going to try and GM a game, and as it is my first time, I want to be able to put the necessary time and energy into it. And not suck.

I think you pick the units you want for the scenario with the points you have. Probably a better idea for you to discuss it in the private forum so you don't give away your hand to the other side. I can help more there.

I think so. You should have access to a private forum at the top that says "Battle Scenarios (Team A)" Post in there so I know it is working for you and I will try and help.

Your listed as in the group. Something Starbeard will have to fix. For now I don't think its a rush since Starbeard is a bit preoccupied at the moment.
