Yes, we have lots of different foot sports here. One of them NOT being football. (unless you like the kickers)

Did we want to bring out the wizards body?

Did anyone in town even say anything about retrieving it?

Agreed. I think the noblewoman wants to know exactly what happened so isn't this the best way to prove it?

Sorry, guys. Super busy at work today, and didn't have a chance to get in any work this morning like I usually do. I've been piecing together the next update, but it may not be available until later tonight.

I like the idea of allowing my players to decide where their character is looking to move instead of my arbitrarily making that decision for them. This positioning may not be meaningful in every room, but there will be times when knowing where a character is will be necessary, so I will probably be using this tile-numbering system on all maps going forward.

So, unless your character isn't going to end up in the area shown on the map, consider this a gentle reminder to please indicate on which square your character will be at the end of their turn. Unless an alternate route is specifically stated, it will be assumed that a character takes a direct line to arrive at their destination.

I will house rule this.

Hopefully this won't be too annoying, but I think it's something that will work and become more "normal" as it gets used.

It may or may not have any impact in this room, but there will be "situations" at some point where knowing the exact positioning of a character will be very helpful. :D

Are you saying the square thing is annoying or that I'm annoying?

(For the record, I KNOW I'm annoying.)

Ha!

For the record, I was definitely referring to my individually numbered square system, and how it may be annoying.

The numbered square thing reminds me of those old high school fundraisers, where they mark the football field into 100+ squares that people bought. And then, whichever square a cow pooped was the winning square. Which PC wins the trap or prize lottery?

Not comparing your rule to cow dung of course...
Dandelion - female half-orc beautyqueen in training (The Lone City in the Wildlands) OSRIC
Halfpint - female halfling badgirl wannabe (Lab Lord- The North Marches) LL
Mark'd - charismatic human fighter (Lab Lord- The North Marches) LL
