Yeah, despite my desire for thoughtfulness, I was still tired while typing it and messed that up. The group remains together.

At a guess, I'd say you have at least one very, very young child. : ) I just wanted to say, though, thanks for gaming with us, Keehnelf. Every update certainly has been thoughtful and well worth the wait.

I do. He turns two in a few weeks and he is very, very dynamic :)

It's very much my pleasure. I love doing this and I appreciate your patience and understanding tons. Please don't ever take a delay of updates on this particular forum as a sign of disinterest on my part--I want this to be a more deliberately-paced game than my West Marches campaign so I plan to do longer posts when possible according to a somewhat slower schedule.

Yup, Keehnelf, enjoying your posts a lot.

So right, literally not leaving Stilborg out of my sight. Will be discrete about it, but if he breaks from the group, I'll be right on his tail. Not taking any chances with this guy.

Hope you all had a great one! Busy time around here, but it wasn't too bad. My little guy's second birthday is coming up in two weeks, and he's definitely hitting some kind of developmental checkpoint because he is testy!

Yup! Mine was like that, too. Could be extra teeth coming in! Try the cold teether! And of course, extra hugs! Keep fighting the good fight!

Okay, so seriously, everyone. Need to know this before we go any further with this adventure.

Do dwarf girls have beards? Or not? And if not, do you think they just, you know, shave?

Two schools of thought. For the sake of this campaign, I think it is important to determine where we fall.

I think probably girls' growing of beards is part of their (extremely complex and confusing for other races) coming-of-age into womanhood.

But I am certainly open to other thoughts. Ingrith and Myrna, by the way, do not have beards.

Yeah, you know, I don't know, I think dwarven females with beards (shaved off or not) makes sense. I remember some quote (from the first D&D movie) about Dwarven Females having beards. Later, I wondered where that idea came from. Was it Tolkein? Or an ancient myth? Or actually, was that all just a bit of fun?

Oh, here is an example of a female Halfling. At first glance, I thought she might be dwarven.

Everyone, my apologies for being silent. I was on a stay-cation last week to spend time with my daughter and new-born granddaughter. I figured I would be able to post regularly but my wife had other plans for us. I'm back to work and a regular posting schedule.

Do enjoy. I think fans of the old school will really dig it.

Also, there is a Dwarf in it. ; ) And in a later episode, gnomes! Too cool.
