Bart, Mutant Human

Bart staggers thought the caverns of trash, barely escaping, knocking over a wall of trinkets and bric-a-brac. As the items rattle in the aftermath, he salutes the gingered dwarf. Upon, hearing the price of the muskets, he offers up a trade in jest, leaning down with one hand Bart picks up Ribbitowicz. Dangling, the small frog-man by his pack he proclaims.

“Here, Red, an even trade.” He sets Frekken Ribbitowicz on a high stool near Angol.

“There, now we shall not lose you in all this, “merchandise”.”

Addressing Angol again, “What would you think of funding a small excursion into the Gamma Zone? We would poke around see if we can find any Salvageables. And you could have a percentage.”

Oor-Zak shuffles aimless around the pawn shop looking for anything that might catch his eye. He occasionally picks up an item, examining in closely and sniffing it several times before setting it back down and moving on.

Angol is visibly incensed by Luke’s attitude. He ignores him, for the moment, to address Jack. “What’s that, a club? I’ve never seen anything like it before. Probably needs a custom ammo job, which won’t be cheap. Vestal, the metal smith, might be able to make some new casings. You’ll then have to haggle with Rarps in the mercantile area. He’s the only one in town who can make powder and propellant.”

Angol’s attention then moves to Frank. “I have a musket and seven blast-heads you can fit to arrows and crossbow bolts. The musket is 750gp with 10 bullets, wadding and powder. The blast-heads are 50gp each.”

...
Jack "Alright thank you Angol, I'll go speak with Vestal." Jack then starts to leave and pauses "Could you tell me how to get to Vestal."

Already agitated by Luke, Bart knocking over a wall of trinkets and Oor-zak nosing through his items, Angol reaches the brink. “Get out, now!”He demands. “Come back tomorrow when I have calmed down and you have learned some manners! Don’t make me call for the Sherriff and his deputies!” He gets down off of his chair and waddles over to the collapsed wall of trinkets. “You’ll pay for any damages,” he proclaims; gesturing with a cup at Bart.

He looks at Jack and thrusts his arm west towards the metal smith, presumably giving him directions.

Jack "Thank you and I am sorry for the damages that have been done." and he sheepishly heads to the direction indicated for the smith.

Frekken, MA Frog

Frekken crosses his arms, looking playful atop the stool. "You'd actually make out pretty good in that deal," he tells Angol. "It's a real bargain!" When the trader is finally fed-up with the group's monkeyshines, Frekken bolts from the stool and leaps out the door.

Blixx - Angol's Pawnshop

Blixx winces at the clatter of falling junk, and taking Angol's advice leaves, following Jack to the metalsmith's shop.

Bart, Mutant Human

As Angol looks the other way to point, Bart gentle retrieves the cup from his hand. He twirls it about his finger.

"Huckleberries, I've been looking for a cup just like this one. How much?"

:D He shows all his teeth in the nicest broadest smile he can muster. And he means it, it is a fine cup.

Cthul Hand Luke , secret mutant

Luke looks around for a whip.

He remembers fondly the days of his youth when mutant step parents Block and Buster raised him in the basements of the great Mall. The gods of the silver screen spoke to him then and educated him on how to live. Having a whip, now that is a worthy weapon. Luke still hopes to find the temple of doom someday; perhaps it lies within the ruins of the Gam'A Zone.

Frank Rock; Regular Human

Frank just grunts at Angol's prices and says with a bit of a sigh; "Well....I ain't got that kinda coin right now. Maybe we'll strike it rich in the 'zone'." With that, he turns to the rest of the crew and aks; "Well....what now?"

Angol just stares in disbelief at Bart’s inquiry about the cup.“You just don’t get it, do you? Get out and you (pointing at Bart) don’t come back.”

You group negotiates the paths and routes through Loge Thanos and makes its way to the metal smith’s shop. The two-building workhouse contains metal parts of various colors and stages of completion; weapons, armor, trinkets, chains, etc. Hunched over a heavy work bench, adjusting the focus of his monoscope, is Vestal the Metal Smith. He is short and stocky with six fingers on each hand. His large, out of proportioned, potato-shaped head that would pass for a fat, ugly human save for the single, yellow eye set in the center.

He senses your approach, lifts the monoscope to the top of his head and smiles, “How may Vestal help you today?”

Jack once more presenting his firearm in a non-threatening manner "Uh well you see I am hoping you have or can make more ammunition for this firearm of mine here." he hands it to the smith if Vestal so needs to examine it to determine if he can make or has ammo for it.

Bart, Mutant Human

Bart finishes off whatever he had put in his cup on the way over, spins it twice about his finger and hangs it on his belt.

He lets out a few clicks and proclaims. "quill off the hog" then silents a belch.

"Mr. Smith i would like a pistol with a spiny thing on the back, like Luke's. Luke show him your gun."

Bart gives Luke a prod forward.

Bart should be sober soon, and be more of his neutral self.

Dirty Luke nods to Bart and steps forward.

"Well being this is a .44 magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world at one time, and could blow your head clean off, you've gotta ask yourself one question: Do you sell more of them? Well, do you Vestal?"

“Ah,”says Vestal examining the handiwork of Jack’s pistol. “A custom job, eh? Vestal has never seen one of these before. I could probably make new casings and bullets for 15gp per set, including the loading. You would have to supply the powder.”

Vestal looks at Bart, who is being a drunken fool at the moment, and then looks away. He’s learned not to trade with intoxicated beings.

Vestal’s turns his attention to Luke. “I could make new .44 magnum casings and bullets for 7 gp per set. The bullets are 2 gp each if you have some used casings. Reloading is included in the prices. Again, you have to supply the powder because Vestal isn’t a chemist.”

Frank Rock; Veteran Human

Frank keeps an eye out, out of habit more than anything else, but also listens in to what Angol might have to say about knowing where to get powder....

Frekken Ribbitowicz, MA Frog

From the back of the group, Frekken watches everyone pull out their cool guns and begins to feel slightly inadequate. He nervously twangs the string on the longbow slung across his back.

He waits eagerly to hear if Vestal can lead them to powder--surely having a powder supply for his gun will cheer up melancholy Jack. "So Vestal, you can supply everything else but powder? That's not too bad, eh Jack?" he looks on encouragingly.
