I forgot about luck points.....

Re: OOC Chat
Not a problem, since one may apply them after a roll.GreyWolfVT wrote: I forgot about luck points.....
Just a reminder that Jack, as a Pure Strain Human, recovers 1 Luck Point per day.

Re: OOC Chat
Hmm well now that Jack is in the "vehicle" does he roll again to see if he can figure out how to drive the thing? If so I'll apply luck points this time around.

Re: OOC Chat
No extra roll required. After Kurot powered it up, Jack tries to understand its operation and function. That is the Artifact Check.GreyWolfVT wrote:Hmm well now that Jack is in the "vehicle" does he roll again to see if he can figure out how to drive the thing? Re: OOC Chat
if jack spends 5 then we can ignore the bad roll from silvestri?
Re: OOC Chat
Yes.shaidar wrote:if jack spends 5 then we can ignore the bad roll from silvestri?
Re: OOC Chat
Jack's Base Roll of 12 means it is activated for one use, but not understood.GreyWolfVT wrote:Jack tries to see if he can still help figure out how to drive this vehicle "Potentially yes Belial. First things first we have to figure out how to drive this thing."
If he spends some luck points, he can raise the roll results to obtain the next two levels (or higher if desired).
- (12-13) Artifact activates for one use; but its operation is still not understood.
(14-16) Artifact activates and its operation is minimally understood; PC must make a DC 10
Intelligence check for the first 1d3 uses, artifact operation is basically understood afterwards.
(17-19) Artifact activates and its operation is basically understood; additional ammunition or power sources may be used if available.

Re: OOC Chat
Eh 5 luck points to spend is easier than someone else using 8 imo and you said I regain them at a rate of 1 per day so all is good no real hard jabbing was needed.
