Cool. I'm back up to speed.

Data loss was minimal — at least the important stuff, like the business plan my wife's been working on for the past 4 months, was well backed up. I did lose some Judges Guild and Dragonsfoot downloads but those are easily replaced.

I'm enjoying this game we have going on (possibly because I'm not in the "Party Leader" role, something I often fall into by default and absolutely want to avoid doing in this case), but I wouldn't mind seeing the pace pick up just a little bit...

Are we waiting for everyone to post actions? Or... is there something else going on causing the delays?

I'm also hoping it's just another technical issue but agreed that it would be nice to know. Waiting when you don't know just sucks, but as others have stated, I'm holding out hope that once GQ gets whatever issue he has straightened out that we'll get this train going down the tracks again!

Honestly, this is one of the drawbacks of the PbP game. It's a bummer when things slow down or grind to a halt, especially when you are really vested in your PC and the game and enjoy gaming with the others in the group. Personally, I love the character development and interaction and the roleplaying you get with a PbP, as it's most times waay better than what you get with a FtF group (at least that's my experience). Of course, YMMV, but I've had some great fun here with you all and hope this isn't the end!

On a side note, the longest running PbP (2+ years) & the first one I ever played in over at Dragonsfoot suddenly stopped due to DM burnout. This devastated me, as I loved my PC and the DragonLance setting, and the DM was really, really good, but I do understand that things change and so I won't take any of them for granted any more!
