Re: OOC Chat II
Numen's...not quite there yet, I think, with the whole expressing himself thing. But considering he was practically a mute when he came to Vaul, I'd say there's some progress!
Re: OOC Chat II
So, here's a quick summary of The Dividening. Am I missing anything important?
Numen: Psst. Rhodri. C'mere, I want to tell you a secret.
Rhodri: Okay. *Stares at Jem*
Numen: Okay. I'm ready to go. Kennit, c'mere, I want to tell you a secret.
Lug: Hey, are you telling secrets?
Orrin: What's the deal with all the secrets?
Numen: *Gripping sword tightly* I had a dream...fire and blood and death. I have to leave for a while.
Orrin: Dude, that sword is bad news.
Lug: Ya think the sword's involved in all the secret meetings?
Jem: I *told* you that sword was evil!
Numen: The sword gives purpose and clarity and hope! And that's totally not creepy! I must go perform a task for a mysterious friend!
Remus: Is the sword cursed or something? I mean, that's not a deal-breaker.
Orrin: Going off on your own is dumb. And who's this "friend?"
Numen: Um...never mind that. I'll stay with the group.
Rhodri: What, you don't trust us now, just because we're having private meetings? I am shocked and offended!
Orrin: Numen is acting really weird this morning. But it's all good. Let's go kill stuff.
Nalia: Let's go kill stuff! Together!
Numen: Yes. Of course. All else will come in its time.
Everyone: Okay, we're all ready to—
Kennit: You don't trust us!
Everyone: *groans*
Orrin: What, no one else can see how weird Numen is acting this morning?
Kennit: I am shocked and offended that you do not trust us! You will find yourself alone!
Orrin: Let's test that theory...

Re: OOC Chat II
Somewhere around the middle section it was more like...
Lug: Hey Numen, why are you being an assh*le?
Jem: Yup, it's the sword's fault you're being an assh*le.
Numen: Alright, I guess I'm being an assh*le. Sorry guys.
Rhodri: Wait. Are you calling me an assh*le just because Numen was talking to me?
Orrin: No, I totally trust you. Just not the assh*les you hang out with.
Kennit: Not cool. I hang out with Rhodri. So by relation, you are calling me an assh*le.
Orrin: Well. Technically not.
Kennit: I think you're the one being an assh*le.
Orrin: Screw you guys. I'm going home.

Re: OOC Chat II
Dorvar has decided his axe shall henceforth be known as Drengi a Grobkaz (Slayer of Goblins). Let the word be spread far and wide, so that goblins shall hear of the deadly steel and cower in fear!
Sometimes this summer I will most likely be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.

Just remember to also refer to it that way in-character, otherwise it doesn't mean much

I'm a little surprised you are just wondering that now, and not before he left in a huff.KingOfCowards wrote:Did it occur to anyone else that the "lawful" dwarf took off with our rings?

I'd say that is a proper application of Dwarven Law.Zorroroaster wrote:I'm a little surprised you are just wondering that now, and not before he left in a huff.KingOfCowards wrote:Did it occur to anyone else that the "lawful" dwarf took off with our rings?

Proper application of elven looter law says "always settle up square". Hopefully Orrin's an honorable sort.Marullus wrote:I'd say that is a proper application of Dwarven Law.Zorroroaster wrote:I'm a little surprised you are just wondering that now, and not before he left in a huff.KingOfCowards wrote:Did it occur to anyone else that the "lawful" dwarf took off with our rings?
